Musing Mondays - Dust covers

If you'd like to join in on Musing Mondays, just click the button above.

Today’s MUSING MONDAYS post is about dust jackets.

Do you prefer books with a dust jacket? What do you do with your dust jacket while reading? Leave it on or take it off? (Question courtesy of Kim from Page after Page)

I don't get many hardcovers. They are too expensive, plus I prefer the size of a paperback. However, on the few hardcovers I get, I like the dust covers and I keep them on the book.

  1. I don't often purchase hardcover books either--unless they are significantly discounted. I do take the dust jacket when I'm reading a hardcover. I transport my books so frequently and the covers easily get damaged if I don't.

  3. I'm the same way, when I do buy books, I tend to buy either old ones or paperbacks.

  5. On a coincidental note, my Dad just reminded me of two tips concerning dust jackets, one obvious, the other quite handy.
