Sunday/Monday Posts - August 20th and 21st

The Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted by Kimba the Caffeinated Book Reviewer ~ It's a chance to share news~ A post to recap the past week on your blog, showcase books and things we have received and share news about what is coming up on our blog for the week ahead.

If you'd like to participate with The Sunday Salon, it is now a Facebook group.

It’s Monday! What Are You Reading is a meme with a new host!  It's now being hosted by Kathryn at Book Date. This is where we share what we read this past week, what we hope to read this week…. and anything in between! This is a great way to plan out your reading week and see what others are currently reading as well… you never know where that next “must read” book will come from!

I'm also linking to  Stacking The Shelves which is hosted by Team Tynga's Reviews.

Happy Weekend Everyone!

Another weird weather week...from hot and humid to torrential rains and humidity.  Today is lovely though :)

I had all good intentions this week to participate in book memes, but I failed.  I just got so busy and time got away from me.  I'm not exactly sure why that happened but it did.  The good thing is that I'm reading and still participating in blog tours.

I'm reading so many good books these days from new-to-me authors to old favorites.  Nothing makes me happier than delving into a book and getting lost in it.  Now if I could only read faster :)  I haven't even been watching Netflix lately.  I'm still in the middle of shows, but I guess I got caught up in reading.  Not a bad thing to be caught up in :)

It's looking like September will be a busy month for blog tours, but I'm not ready for September to get here yet.  I still want it to be summer.  Time is just going way too fast.

Not much else going on here.  How are things going on your end of the world?  Hope you all have a great week!

Yvonne

  2. I must get my hands on The Summer that Made Us. I've enjoyed a few of Carr's books so far.

I like the look of your cozies...Daryl Wood Gerber is an author I've enjoyed. I like the look of Body on Baker Street.

Enjoy your week, and thanks for visiting my blog.

  8. Love a book that carries you away too. Hope you enjoyed The Good Daughter, I doubt that it was a warm cozy. I think you will enjoy the Robyn Carr book when you get to it. Dysfunctional family with a capital D.

Thank you for stopping by and visiting my blog! I always love reading comments and getting to know my readers!

After some careful consideration, I've decided to become an award-free blog. Although I appreciate and am honored by each and every award I've received, your comments and friendship are enough award for me. Thank you all so much for your thoughtfulness.
