Sunday/Monday Posts - June 10th and 11th

The Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted by Kimba the Caffeinated Book Reviewer ~ It's a chance to share news~ A post to recap the past week on your blog, showcase books and things we have received and share news about what is coming up on our blog for the week ahead.

If you'd like to participate with The Sunday Salon, it is now a Facebook group.

It’s Monday! What Are You Reading is a meme with a new host!  It's now being hosted by Kathryn at Book Date. This is where we share what we read this past week, what we hope to read this week…. and anything in between! This is a great way to plan out your reading week and see what others are currently reading as well… you never know where that next “must read” book will come from!

I'm also linking to  Stacking The Shelves which is hosted by Team Tynga's Reviews.

Happy Weekend!

I hope you are all enjoying the weekend.  We are having beautiful weather.  Not too hot, not too cold. Perfect reading weather :)

I've been reading several good books.  I'm still trying to juggle more than one at a time, which isn't the best thing to do.  Once I'm finished with these I'll go back to my usual one at a time.  There are just so many books I want to read and it's hard to decide what's next.

I've also been doing some spring cleaning around the house and trying to downsize.  I'm happy to say that I'm making progress.

I haven't been doing too much TV watching.  I'm still watching Colony on the USA Network with Josh Holloway and that's good.  Other shows are ones I have left over from last season on my DVR.  There's not much left though.  I find I would rather read these days.

I hope you are enjoying your weekend and reading many great books.  Have a good week!

Posts This Week

Wednesday:  Can't Wait Wednesday

I'm still juggling a couple of books. I'm enjoying them and want to keep going.  Wish I could read more than one at the same time. LOL

I'm finished reading...

Here are this week's Kindle freebie haul. They were freebies when I got them, I don't know if they still are. Always make sure to check they are still free before buying. The prices change quickly.

These books are coming up for reviews/blog tours in the next couple of months:

  1. I’m so bad at book polygamy. I need to go back to reading one at a time because it feels like I’m not making progress on any of them. Enjoy your new books and the good weather.

  2. Yvonne, we are having nice, temperate weather here as well. I'm reading a couple of books at the same time as well. I bring a small stack with me when it's time to read. That works well for me if I read fiction along with non-fiction. Enjoy your reading, and have a terrific weekend!

  3. I read 5 books at once, but I read non-fiction. I think fiction would be too confusing to read more than one.

  6. It is hard work spring cleaning and downsizing but I must admit it makes you feel good after. I usually have two books going. One on audio and one eBook/paper. However, I always make sure they are different genres.

  7. So many lovely books! I recently downloaded The Beach House from the library (the first book in the series); I hope to eventually read them all.

I am eager to read my copy of Dreams of Falling...and the David Bell book looks good. I have a copy of Bring Her Home that I hope to read. Here are MY WEEKLY UPDATES

  8. I just got Italian Iced and I'm super excited. It looks really good. My TV watching has slowed down a bit in the last few weeks which has definitely helped my reading. The other books you have going look fantastic. Have a great week!
