The Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted by Kimba the Caffeinated Book Reviewer ~ It's a chance to share news~ A post to recap the past week on your blog, showcase books and things we have received and share news about what is coming up on our blog for the week ahead.
If you'd like to participate with The Sunday Salon, it is now being hosted by Deb at Readerbuzz.
It’s Monday! What Are You Reading is a meme with a new host! It's now being hosted by Kathryn at Book Date. This is where we share what we read this past week, what we hope to read this week…. and anything in between! This is a great way to plan out your reading week and see what others are currently reading as well… you never know where that next “must read” book will come from!
I'm also linking to Stacking the Shelves which is hosted by Reading Reality.
Hi Everyone!
Happy New Year! I hope 2026 is a good one for everyone. We had a quiet New Year's Eve at home. Well, not that quiet since there were a ton of fireworks. The kitties didn't seem to mind because we were here with them.
I only finished two books this week, but they were good ones. One was just a short novella to start off the new year. I wanted a short one to read on New Year's Day and I enjoyed it.
I have a couple of doctor appointments to start the year off. Hopefully those will all be routine. Nothing else is new over here. I hope you all have a great week. Happy 2026!

I pray you have a blessed and beautiful 2026!
ReplyDeleteHappy New Year! My cats were surprised by the fireworks, but they got over it pretty quickly. I hope all of your appointments go well. I have several this month, too. Have a great week! :)
ReplyDeleteHappy New Year, I will keep you in my thoughts as you go to your appointments.
ReplyDeleteThose fireworks can be frustrating. I just realized we didn't hear any from where we were celebrating. Our friend's house who hosted new years is pretty isolated, thankfully. LOL Happy 2026!
ReplyDeleteThat's a good idea to start with a short book for the new year.
ReplyDeleteI hope all goes smoothly with your upcoming doctor appointments.

ReplyDeleteWow, we had so many fireworks, too. I'm pretty sure someone shot a cannon at 3:30am, too. Quite the night!

Happy new year, Yvonne! Our dog didn't like the fireworks much, but at least they didn't last long. Eager to read your thoughts on Keyless at the Coffee Station. Your new haul looks good. Hope you enjoy them.
