The Weekend Review - June 20th-22nd

The Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted by Kimba the Caffeinated Book Reviewer ~ It's a chance to share news~ A post to recap the past week on your blog, showcase books and things we have received and share news about what is coming up on our blog for the week ahead.

If you'd like to participate with The Sunday Salon, it is now being hosted by Deb at Readerbuzz.

It’s Monday! What Are You Reading is a meme with a new host!  It's now being hosted by Kathryn at Book Date. This is where we share what we read this past week, what we hope to read this week…. and anything in between! This is a great way to plan out your reading week and see what others are currently reading as well… you never know where that next “must read” book will come from!

I'm also linking to Stacking the Shelves which is hosted by Reading Reality.

Hi Everyone! Happy Father's Day!

To all the dads out there - a very big Happy Father's Day! I hope you are all having a great day.

I finished one book this week and it was a good one.  I'll be posting a review on my blog tour on Wednesday.

The only thing I watched this week is basketball and the NY Knicks championship win and all the celebrating afterwards. Now, I'm just reading and blogging.  There's nothing else I want to watch right now.

Other than that, it's another quiet week for me. A couple of routine doctor's appointments and, I hope, plenty of reading time.

Hope everyone has a great week!

Yvonne

  1. My dad prefers me to ignore Father's Day, ahaha, so I was totally caught by surprise by it this weekend! Oops... but at least he won't mind.

A quiet week sounds good -- hope you have a good week ahead!

  5. Glad that you were able to watch the next game. I’ve always liked basketball and now they have these commercials on Netflix about how New York and New Jersey one of the loudest audiences . It kind of makes you pumped up.

  7. I hope you enjoy Whisper Creek. I like Allison Brennan. I am hoping for a quiet week after the next few. Certainly I don't want to go out in the yard a lot later in July and August.

  14. We don't do much for Father's Day (or Mother's Day) so I completely forgot about it until yesterday afternoon. Oops! Yay for a quiet week so hopefully this next week is full of good books and cat snuggles.
