Musing Mondays - Reading/Blogging During the Holidays

Today’s MUSING MONDAYS post is about reading/blogging during the holidays…
How does your reading (or your blogging) fare in the holiday months? Do you read more or less? Do you have to actively make time to read?
I don't know if the holidays really make a difference to me. I'm always struggling to manage my time between reading and blogging, not to mention other things in life. It seems to me that I never have enough time or at least not the amount of time I'd like to have. I'm just not very good at time management and it always seems that I bite off more than I can chew.
My latest addiction has been to games on Facebook which is eating up valuable reading time. If only I could stop!
I'm sure there are many others out there with the same problem. How do you manage your time?

Thank you for stopping by and visiting my blog! I always love reading comments and getting to know my readers!
After some careful consideration, I've decided to become an award-free blog. Although I appreciate and am honored by each and every award I've received, your comments and friendship are enough award for me. Thank you all so much for your thoughtfulness.
Due to way too many spam comments, I disabled the Anonymous User comments. We'll see if this works, otherwise I'll have to go back to word verification.

I know a farmer that sold his real life farm but was having trouble sleeping so someone introduced him to Farmville. Now is has trouble sleeping because he's worried about his Facebook farm!
ReplyDeleteI've avoided the whole game scene on Facebook. Blogging takes away enough time away from reading thank you.
As for holiday reading. I'm a SAHM of adult children so as long as there is clean laundry and dishes, everyday is a holiday. sort of.
I like your cat
I have avoided the extra stuff on Facebook for that reason!
ReplyDeletesee, that is why I never got involved in Facebook...or Twitter...on any of those places. Too little time, too many books.
ReplyDeleteFacebook...real book. No contest.
I do love Facebook but ended up having to quit with the games because they were sucking my limited time away in huge chunks. Now I happily post weird status updates, check my friends' updates and close out of Facebook itself. Helps tremendously. :-)
ReplyDeleteI do read less during the holidays.
ReplyDeleteFacebook is addicting for sure!

I'm trying so hard not to log onto Facebook so I don't get caught up in all the games. I didn't go on today. It's just taking up way too much time.
ReplyDeletedefinitely my new favorite picture! Kittens snuggled with anything makes for a great photo, but it looks like that bird is almost snuggling back! Amazing!
