Another Sunday...hope everyone is doing well today and reading lots of good books.
I finished two books this week...
Ecstatic Evil by Amanda McNeil
Murder Buys a T-Shirt by Christy Fifield
Both were excellent books. My review of Ecstatic Evil is already posted and you can read it here. It was a different type of read for me, but I really enjoyed it.
Murder Buys a T-Shirt is a cozy mystery that was really good. It's the first of a brand new series. I love brand new series and being able to start reading from the beginning. I tend to get frustrated when I find a good book and discover there's a huge backlist to a series and I have to catch up by reading 10 or so previous books. Getting in on the ground floor is fun :) My review will be posted shortly, along with a book giveaway. I hope you'll all enter. (Thanks to Berkley for the giveaway.)
I have a couple of blog tours and interviews coming up. So, I'll be busy.
I've also made a decision...I used to write romance books, but I stopped. I've never been published but I loved the Harlequin and Silhouette books and wrote what I loved. Now, I'm more into mysteries and I decided to go back to writing and this time I'm gearing towards mysteries. I already started writing an outline and developing my characters. This should be fun. I even joined the mystery writers organization Sisters in Crime. Hopefully, I will learn much from them.
Other than that, the weather in New York is getting better each day. Not that we had a bad winter by any means, but it's just nice that Spring is coming.
Enjoy your week!

Thank you for stopping by and visiting my blog! I always love reading comments and getting to know my readers!
After some careful consideration, I've decided to become an award-free blog. Although I appreciate and am honored by each and every award I've received, your comments and friendship are enough award for me. Thank you all so much for your thoughtfulness.
Due to way too many spam comments, I disabled the Anonymous User comments. We'll see if this works, otherwise I'll have to go back to word verification.

I don't usually worry about reading a book that is out of order in a series, as each book can almost always stand alone. Happy reading this week.
