This week's question...
If you had to choose to live within a novel, which would it be?
My answer...
I'm going to go with an old favorite "Gone With the Wind". Why? The era was a difficult one, so it's not for an easy life. I have no idea why I'd want to live there except that I'd meet Rhett Butler and get to wear those beautiful gowns. LOL (It's also the first book I thought of when I read this question.)

Thank you for stopping by and visiting my blog! I always love reading comments and getting to know my readers!
After some careful consideration, I've decided to become an award-free blog. Although I appreciate and am honored by each and every award I've received, your comments and friendship are enough award for me. Thank you all so much for your thoughtfulness.

I really need to read Gone With the Wind. Wearing beautiful gowns would make living anywhere fun! See my answer here
ReplyDeleteHappy reading!
Love your answer. The time was difficult but beautiful. http://edwardsgranddaugther.blogspot.com/2012/05/reviewing-inspired-organized-effective.html
ReplyDeleteOne of my favorite novels, and a really interesting period in US history. Love the gowns, too -- but I'd stay away from any time or place that required the wearing of a corset!
ReplyDeleteI really think it would be a great place to live in! I'd love to wear some of those dresses myself.
ReplyDeleteAnother book I've always read but never gotten around to! That cat is sooooo cute. Here's my answer: Small Blonde Hippy
ReplyDeleteI was thinking of that one...but then the idea of the wars, etc. made me chicken out! But I loved the themes and many of the characters.
ReplyDeleteHere's MY THURSDAY MEMES POST
The gowns of this era are to die for!! I totally approve of this choice! Awesome!

A difficult time, but the gowns were pretty.
