Well, this was certainly a crazy week with Hurricane Sandy paying us a visit. We were out of power for a few days, but we were much luckier than others out there who are still without power. Not to mention all the severe damage people had to their homes. It's all so horrible and now they are saying we might have a Nor'Easter next week. This is crazy! My prayers and thoughts are with all those who suffered from the storm and trying to get their lives back to normal.
As for October, it was an "eh" month for me. I finished six books. I'm obviously not going to make my early goal of 100 books but that's life. Maybe next year :)
Here's what I read for October:
Sweat by Mark Gilleo
Eat, Prey & Love by Elizabeth Gilbert (audio)
Missing Rebecca by John Worsley Simpson
The Cat, The Wife and The Weapon by Leann Sweeney
Celebration by Fern Michaels (audio)
Curveball by Jen Estes (Review will be up on the 10th for a blog tour.)
I have quite a few blog tours coming up. Those are always so much fun.
I hope everyone is safe! Enjoy your week!

Thank you for stopping by and visiting my blog! I always love reading comments and getting to know my readers!
After some careful consideration, I've decided to become an award-free blog. Although I appreciate and am honored by each and every award I've received, your comments and friendship are enough award for me. Thank you all so much for your thoughtfulness.
Due to way too many spam comments, I disabled the Anonymous User comments. We'll see if this works, otherwise I'll have to go back to word verification.

Nice images. Wish I had read as many books! Have a safe week!
ReplyDeleteI'm glad the storm did not wreak much damage for you...being without power for even a few hours always freaks me out a bit.
ReplyDeleteI'm going to check out some of your reviews...Missing Rebecca looks intriguing. Thanks for visiting my blog.
Happy November reading.
ReplyDeleteYou'll reach 100 another year :)
ReplyDeleteGlad you're ok Yvonne. I just got my power back last night. It's been tough, but we are lucky too.
ReplyDeleteHappy November!
My October has been less than stellar as well. I probably won't reach 70. That's two years with an original goal for 100 and ending up below the mark. Maybe someday. =O)
ReplyDeleteI am glad to hear that you are well and weren't hit too badly, as others were.
