Sunday/Monday Posts - December 18th and 19th

The Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted by Kimba the Caffeinated Book Reviewer ~ It's a chance to share news~ A post to recap the past week on your blog, showcase books and things we have received and share news about what is coming up on our blog for the week ahead.

If you'd like to participate with The Sunday Salon, it is now a Facebook group.

It’s Monday! What Are You Reading is a meme with a new host!  It's now being hosted by Kathryn at Book Date. This is where we share what we read this past week, what we hope to read this week…. and anything in between! This is a great way to plan out your reading week and see what others are currently reading as well… you never know where that next “must read” book will come from!

I'm also linking to  Stacking The Shelves which is hosted by Team Tynga's Reviews.

Happy Sunday!

Our first snowfall...we had about four inches of snow.  According to the forecast, tomorrow our temps will be near 60.  What a jump in temps!  Yesterday we were in the teens, today around 30 and tomorrow near 60.  The snow will probably be gone by tonight as the temps rise and we are now getting rain.

Just like in November, my reading is still slow-going.  I just haven't had enough reading time.  I didn't even participate in any of the weekly book memes this week.  Oh well, it is what it is, I guess.  Maybe things will be better in the new year.

It's hard to believe we only have one week until Christmas and two until New Year's.  Time really is flying... what an understatement that is.

I hope you all have a great week!

Yvonne

What was your week like? What are you reading this week?

  1. We've had some crazy temperature fluctuations too. However we've not had any real accumulations. A Familiar Tail looks super cute. Hope you have a better reading week but I feel your pain.

  2. Our temps have been in the 40s this week, which is considerably higher than some folks are experiencing. Fluctuations like yours can be unsettling.

Enjoy those cozies...which all look tempting. I'm reading an Irish cozy this week, by Sheila Connolly.

  3. We were hot and muggy, then cold and rainy. It's going to be warm for Christmas. Took me a while to get used to that, but not complaining. I do miss the white Christmas though.

Looks like some good ones to cozy up with.

    Happy Holidays!

  5. So many places got a first snowfall this week! Here in Baltimore, we got this awful ice storm, but it wasn't quite snow. Really annoying though. I think I would have preferred snow. :/ I've not read anything by Lori Wilde! I might try one of her holiday books, given the mood. I hope you enjoy all of your new books!

Have a fabulous week, Yvonne. :)

  6. Your reading choices look nice. We ended up with about 5 inches of snow over the past weekend. Our warmup is only going to take us to the high 20s though. Come see my week here. Happy reading!

  7. That certainly is a range of temps. I think at this time of the year reading does take a bit of a back seat. I see you have been getting sorted for your 2017 challenges, I've been doing that too.
