Sunday/Monday Posts - December 25th and 26th

The Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted by Kimba the Caffeinated Book Reviewer ~ It's a chance to share news~ A post to recap the past week on your blog, showcase books and things we have received and share news about what is coming up on our blog for the week ahead.

If you'd like to participate with The Sunday Salon, it is now a Facebook group.

It’s Monday! What Are You Reading is a meme with a new host!  It's now being hosted by Kathryn at Book Date. This is where we share what we read this past week, what we hope to read this week…. and anything in between! This is a great way to plan out your reading week and see what others are currently reading as well… you never know where that next “must read” book will come from!

I'm also linking to  Stacking The Shelves which is hosted by Team Tynga's Reviews.

Happy Sunday!  Happy Hanukkah!  Merry Christmas!

I hope everyone is enjoying their celebrations this year.  It's a quiet holiday for me and my husband, but that's perfect for us.

We started out with pouring rain, but it's warmed up and the sun was even out.  It doesn't really feel like Christmas, but that's what the calendar says :)

Reading is still slow for me this holiday season, but that's okay.  There's still an outside chance I can make my Goodreads 100 books reading goal for 2016.  But, it really is an outside chance.  I still need to complete six books and I seem to be all over the place with my reading.  I keep starting books - all good ones - but putting them down to start others.  The problem is that I want to read everything.  LOL

I'm totally caught up with my TV viewing.  That's a good thing.  I couldn't find anything on Netflix that I could really get involved in.  I tried, but nothing held my interest.  That's okay since the new TV season will start soon enough.  In the meantime I can catch up on reading...I hope.

I wish you all a very happy holiday season.  Enjoy!

Yvonne

  7. Merry Christmas, hope you have a great holiday! A quiet one does sound good. :) I haven't been finding much on Netflix lately either... The Cupcake Caper looks cute and Literally Murder looks good also.

Thank you for stopping by and visiting my blog! I always love reading comments and getting to know my readers!

After some careful consideration, I've decided to become an award-free blog. Although I appreciate and am honored by each and every award I've received, your comments and friendship are enough award for me. Thank you all so much for your thoughtfulness.

Due to way too many spam comments, I disabled the Anonymous User comments. We'll see if this works, otherwise I'll have to go back to word verification.
