It's that simple.
I'm also joining in Book Beginnings on Friday. It's hosted by Rose City Reader.
This is what I'm reading this week...
Beginnings...
Skye Denison-Boyd woke with a start. She jerked upright, nearly falling out of the brown leather recliner, and her black cat, Bingo, hissed his displeasure. With a glare in her direction, the fuming feline settled back on what little lap Skye still had at nearly thirty-four weeks pregnant.

The Book Beginning sure makes the book sound fun and a little silly.

ReplyDeleteThis sounds great. I loved the beginning. I am featuring The Hunt by Chloe Neill this week. Happy reading!
ReplyDeleteSounds like a fun cozy. I like the cat's name.
ReplyDeleteMy Friday post features Half Broke Horses.
I love a beginning that brings me into the story with a jerk...and the hissing cat made me smile.
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing, and here's mine: “THE HEIRS”
Sounds like a fun read! Loved the beginning!
ReplyDeleteHere's my Friday Reads
The opening reminds me of the way my dog would lay off on, half off my lap when I was pregnant (he wouldn't fit all the way on when I wasn't). :-) I hope you are enjoying this one! It sounds good. I hope you have a great weekend, Yvonne.
