The Weekend Review - February 16-18th

The Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted by Kimba the Caffeinated Book Reviewer ~ It's a chance to share news~ A post to recap the past week on your blog, showcase books and things we have received and share news about what is coming up on our blog for the week ahead.

If you'd like to participate with The Sunday Salon, it is now a Facebook group.

It’s Monday! What Are You Reading is a meme with a new host!  It's now being hosted by Kathryn at Book Date. This is where we share what we read this past week, what we hope to read this week…. and anything in between! This is a great way to plan out your reading week and see what others are currently reading as well… you never know where that next “must read” book will come from!

I'm also linking to  Stacking The Shelves which is hosted by Team Tynga's Reviews.

Happy Weekend!

We've been having pretty nice weather here.   One day it's cold, the next warm.  The important thing is we've had minimal precipitation of any kind.  I'm happy about that.

Another busy week both on the blog and in real life.  I'm still adjusting to my new job and my new schedule.  So, I'm falling behind on everything.  My reading, TV viewing and blogging is suffering.  Hopefully I will get back on track soon.  Fortunately, I've been able to pre-schedule blog posts.  Eventually I will get a handle on everything.

I still managed to collect a few more Kindle freebies.  I do love my freebies :)

I hope you all have a great week and read many good books.

Yvonne

  2. Kindle freebies are great! The only problem I find with them is that I often forget that they're there as I dont tend to read them straight away.

  3. It's tough to juggle working and reading and blogging. I'm still trying to find a routine after all these years. :)

  4. Corned Beef and Casualties looks like a perfect March read...while Corned Beef and Cabbage are cooking in my Crock Pot. I loved The Suspect.

  6. I love the Cozy Corgi series. Fred and Watson are so adorable and I'm now on the eight book. It's been hot and muggy here. Got the AC on. I think we are on the last vestiges of winter and I can't wait for spring:) I hope your schedule smooths out and you can get back to the things you enjoy, Yvonne:)

  10. Well it's average temps here but supposed to rain all week. I just looked and apparently it changed so not tomorrow. I have to get my freebies too! I have my Thrifty Thursday meme so I read at least one a month, although I try to do more. Link up if you can. I hope you get it all worked out over the next month or so. Give yourself time. I hope you have some great reads and a good week. Anne - Books of My Heart

Thank you for stopping by and visiting my blog! I always love reading comments and getting to know my readers!

After some careful consideration, I've decided to become an award-free blog. Although I appreciate and am honored by each and every award I've received, your comments and friendship are enough award for me. Thank you all so much for your thoughtfulness.
