The Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted by Kimba the Caffeinated Book Reviewer ~ It's a chance to share news~ A post to recap the past week on your blog, showcase books and things we have received and share news about what is coming up on our blog for the week ahead.
If you'd like to participate with The Sunday Salon, it is now being hosted by Deb at Readerbuzz.
It’s Monday! What Are You Reading is a meme with a new host! It's now being hosted by Kathryn at Book Date. This is where we share what we read this past week, what we hope to read this week…. and anything in between! This is a great way to plan out your reading week and see what others are currently reading as well… you never know where that next “must read” book will come from!
I'm also linking to Stacking The Shelves which is hosted by Team Tynga's Reviews.
I'm getting a late start today. It's been one of those weeks. I can't believe the first week of June is over. I can't say I've liked 2020 very much so far and there's still half a year left. Maybe things will get better. Although now I hear we have to prepare for the hurricane season. This is all new to us since last year we were living in New York at this time. Hopefully there will be no hurricanes this year :)
I finished two books this week. I hoped to do more since it's been a week of torrential rain for us, but it never seems to work out that way. I'm not doing too much TV watching these days.
I did have a few book tours last week and only one scheduled for next week.
I hope you all have a great week!

A book about Paris is always interesting to me. Hope you enjoy it. Shadow Garden was not my best read in psych thrillers.
ReplyDeleteCoronavirus. Economic problems. Riots and protests. Murder Hornets. Now Hurricanes. Oh dear. It's been a hard week but there is a lot of cause for hope for the future. Stay well. Stay safe. Please visit my Sunday Salon post. Thank you.
ReplyDeleteSo many tempting cozies and beach reads, plus I want to read He Started It. Enjoy!
ReplyDeleteYes, hurricanes are one of the joys of living along the Texas Gulf Coast, too. We have an average of 2.5 hurricanes a year come into the Gulf. I hope that the tropical storm that just passed through will count for 1 of the 2.5.
ReplyDeleteI am eager to hear about Paris is Always a Good Idea. I've added it to my wishlist.
Yes - it has been a rather bleak week, hasn't it? At least you look as though you have been reading some lovely books! I hope that it stops raining soon and there are absolutely no hurricanes this season!
ReplyDeleteSorry you have to deal with hurricane season on top of Covid, that is a lot to deal with. XO
ReplyDeleteI certainly hope this is a mild hurricane season for everyone with everything that has happened this year.
ReplyDeleteParis is Always a Good Idea sounds good to me because, well....it is!!
ReplyDeleteFingers crossed regarding the hurricanes. Hopefully you are hurricane free all season.
That Summer in Maine looks good!
ReplyDeleteThis year has not been a good one for our country or the world. :( Hopefully we can all learn from these events. Stay safe and well.
They're predicting 3 to 6 hurricanes this year. Let's hope they are wrong!
ReplyDeleteThe weeks I think I'm going to get so much reading done never work out the way I expect them to! Fingers crossed for a mild hurricane season this year. Hope you have a great week!
ReplyDeleteHappy reading.

ReplyDeleteAj @ Read All The Things!
Enjoy your planned reading. Oh boy, hurricanes, now I am not sure I'd want to be thinking about anything like those!
ReplyDeleteLooks like lots of interesting reads! When I Was You is on my list too toward the end of summer. Thanks for sharing :)
ReplyDeleteI hope your first hurricane season is mild. Booked to Death looks so fun! I think I've read Victoria Gilbert before. I hope you enjoy your upcoming books! So many great sounding ones! Have a great week, Yvonne.
