The Weekend Review - February 20th-22nd

The Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted by Kimba the Caffeinated Book Reviewer ~ It's a chance to share news~ A post to recap the past week on your blog, showcase books and things we have received and share news about what is coming up on our blog for the week ahead.

If you'd like to participate with The Sunday Salon, it is now being hosted by Deb at Readerbuzz.

It’s Monday! What Are You Reading is a meme with a new host!  It's now being hosted by Kathryn at Book Date. This is where we share what we read this past week, what we hope to read this week…. and anything in between! This is a great way to plan out your reading week and see what others are currently reading as well… you never know where that next “must read” book will come from!

I'm also linking to  Stacking The Shelves which is hosted by Team Tynga's Reviews.

Hi Everyone!  Happy Weekend!

First, to all who live in Texas and anywhere you are getting hit with bad weather, I do hope you are all safe.  My thoughts and prayers are with all of you.  Stay safe!

This week was okay.  Nothing exciting, which I always think is a good thing because it means nothing bad happened :)  I only finished one book this week.  I've decided to try audiobooks again as I'm trying to walk everyday and I figured it was a good way to get some reading in even if it's by listening.

I've been watching a few shows...The Blacklist is always good.  I've been trying the new show Clarice but I'm still on the fence about it.  My favorite show lately has been The Resident.  One of the shows I watch - NCIS: New Orleans announced they were going to be ending in March.  I was surprised about that.  I always liked Scott Bakula.

Nothing else of interest happening here.  So, I'll just let you all continue to read my week in review.  There's much more happening on my blog than in my real life.  LOL

Have a great week everyone!  Please, everyone stay safe!

  2. I've been watching some shows too. It's nice to just relax and do that when it's so cold out.

I like the look of your upcoming books!

  3. Glad you had an uneventful week. Our week was also rather uneventful, just hectically busy! I miss the blog and and I hardly get to post anything. So I'm a bit jealous of all your lovely posts and tours coming up.

Have fun and enjoy your upcoming week.

  4. I love how positive you are about nothing happening. I usually go distraught even if the week was a bit dull. I envy you. Stay safe!

  5. We in Texas are happy to wake up to warmer temperatures today. Last night was the first night it didn't freeze.

The odd thing about the pandemic is that I have grown to love ebooks and audiobooks. I wonder how you listen to them when you walk. Do most people listen on their phontes.

We are looking for our next good show. We've been watching All Creatures for so many months; I'm not sure anything else will compare.

  8. I’m sad to learn NCIS is finishing. I might wait til the end of this season and binge the whole series. I’ve been a fan of Bakula since Quantum Leap.

Wishing you a great reading week

  9. I enjoy listening to audiobooks also. Especially when I'm driving, running or walking outside, or if I'm doing chores around the house.

  10. I thought about subscribing to Scribd for e-books, of course, but for audiobooks also, see how they work for me. It's important to find good narrators ! Nothing bad is good, especially in those days. Have a great week and have fun with your audiobooks :)

  14. Audiobooks are great options. I do need a specific narrator to help me with those types but I'll take a look at your rec.

  15. We love The Blacklist, but it is odd that Liz hasn't been in the last few episodes. We like Scott Bakula too, we were big fans of his show Quantum Leap.
