The Weekend Review - May 22nd-24th

The Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted by Kimba the Caffeinated Book Reviewer ~ It's a chance to share news~ A post to recap the past week on your blog, showcase books and things we have received and share news about what is coming up on our blog for the week ahead.

If you'd like to participate with The Sunday Salon, it is now being hosted by Deb at Readerbuzz.

It’s Monday! What Are You Reading is a meme with a new host!  It's now being hosted by Kathryn at Book Date. This is where we share what we read this past week, what we hope to read this week…. and anything in between! This is a great way to plan out your reading week and see what others are currently reading as well… you never know where that next “must read” book will come from!

I'm also linking to  Stacking The Shelves which is hosted by Reading Reality.

Hi Everyone!

This week started off with our 34th wedding anniversary.  We checked out a local casino which was nice.  Then, we went on a nature walk which was so lovely and peaceful.  Here are a couple of pics:

We had dinner out a couple of times and really had a great week.

I finished two books which were good.  My blog has been super busy with spotlights for blog tours.  There's more to come!

As for what I've been watching, I'm just looking towards clearing the DVR out as the TV season winds down.  The one show that has really been keeping me interested is The Blacklist.  They do a great job of keeping the viewers guessing.

Not too much else to report here.  I hope you've all been doing well and reading/watching many good things.  Have a great week!

  6. Happy anniversary! There's nothing I have enjoyed more during pandemic times than taking a nature walk.

There's a new person running Stacking the Shelves, I see, so I've spent the last hour trying to change up my links to the new blog and the picture on the box. No luck. I think I'll have to redo everything to make it fit properly. Sigh.

Invisible Husband looks really good. Have a great week, Yvonne.

  8. Happy anniversary! That looks like a lovely nature walk. One Skein of Death looks fun; I didn't know about that series. As a knitter, I should probably check it out.

  14. Happy Anniversary! We make good use of our nature parks around here too, especially during the pandemic. In fact, we recently discovered a new (to us) one that we quite like. I have some pictures from the last time we went which I meant to post this week, but just didn't get the chance to.
