The Weekend Review - May 29th-31st

The Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted by Kimba the Caffeinated Book Reviewer ~ It's a chance to share news~ A post to recap the past week on your blog, showcase books and things we have received and share news about what is coming up on our blog for the week ahead.

If you'd like to participate with The Sunday Salon, it is now being hosted by Deb at Readerbuzz.

It’s Monday! What Are You Reading is a meme with a new host!  It's now being hosted by Kathryn at Book Date. This is where we share what we read this past week, what we hope to read this week…. and anything in between! This is a great way to plan out your reading week and see what others are currently reading as well… you never know where that next “must read” book will come from!

I'm also linking to  Stacking The Shelves which is hosted by Reading Reality.

Hi Everyone!

Another busy week on the blog with tours, but a quiet week for me personally.  I'm more than fine with that.  Our weather has been pretty warm and humid so my walking hasn't been much this week, which means I haven't been listening to audio books much.

I only finished one book this week.  I thought I'd do better, but I think I was trying to keep up with all the TV season finales.  Most of mine are over so my reading should improve.

This is a holiday weekend in the U.S.  I don't have anything special planned, but I hope anyone out there who is celebrating has a great and safe holiday.

Not too much else to report here.  I hope you've all been doing well and reading/watching many good things.  Have a great week!

  5. Have a great holiday! I unexpectedly got the day off work. I usually don’t get holidays off, so now I have to find something to do with myself.

  6. I'm kind of glad that TV is wrapping up as I need more time to tackle my reading pile. But there are always a few summer shows I watch but not nearly as many. Check out my books at Girl Who Reads

  10. Hot and humid is hard to walk in, I have been poor at walking so my walking audio has really suffered. However I have another on the go that I listen to while crafting so that helps.

  13. I don't have plans for Memorial Day either. My brother has to work all of it which means we don't even have meals together. I'll just read and watch baseball games. Come see my week here. Happy reading!

  14. I'm with you about not walking in the heat. It's been pretty warm here in Oregon, so I've been "house walking" (which drives my family crazy...oh well!). I'm hoping to get back outside to walk in a few days when things cool down. - Melinda @ A Web of Stories

Thank you for stopping by and visiting my blog! I always love reading comments and getting to know my readers!

After some careful consideration, I've decided to become an award-free blog. Although I appreciate and am honored by each and every award I've received, your comments and friendship are enough award for me. Thank you all so much for your thoughtfulness.

Due to way too many spam comments, I disabled the Anonymous User comments. We'll see if this works, otherwise I'll have to go back to word verification.
