The Weekend Review - October 23rd-25th

The Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted by Kimba the Caffeinated Book Reviewer ~ It's a chance to share news~ A post to recap the past week on your blog, showcase books and things we have received and share news about what is coming up on our blog for the week ahead.

If you'd like to participate with The Sunday Salon, it is now being hosted by Deb at Readerbuzz.

It’s Monday! What Are You Reading is a meme with a new host!  It's now being hosted by Kathryn at Book Date. This is where we share what we read this past week, what we hope to read this week…. and anything in between! This is a great way to plan out your reading week and see what others are currently reading as well… you never know where that next “must read” book will come from!

I'm also linking to  Stacking The Shelves which is hosted by Reading Reality.

Hi Everyone!

I still haven't felt 100% from the cold I've been having for the past couple of weeks.  I think it might be bronchitis.  So, I've just been staying home and trying to relax.

I did manage to finish two books this week.  So, that's good.  I even managed to watch a few of my shows, but I've really been exhausted lately.  So, I'm behind.  I'm trying to get more reading time in so I can meet my Goodreads challenge goal.  I'm on target, so far.

I've been debating joining the Ho Ho Ho readathon.  It looks like so much fun and I've been wanting to join in for years.  Maybe I'll try it this year.

I hope you all have a great week!

  1. I think I'm going to do the HoHoHo as well. I was going to sign up last week but never got around to the post. Plus I'm lining up books still haha. It's been a lot of fun in the past though.

    Hope you feel better soon!

  3. I have two blog tours coming up but will decline them from now on. I prefer to read at leisure and not on deadline! Have fun though.

  4. I hope you feel better soon! When I was in college and grad school, I'd get bronchitis several times a year. I felt like I always had it because it never seemed to fully go away.

I may join the Ho Ho Ho readathon. I wish there was Christmas Reading Challenge but I've never seen one.

  7. I'm sorry you still are not feeling well. I hope that it's not bronchitis and that it clears up very soon.

I'm curious about the Ho Ho Ho Readathon, too. But this time of the year is such a busy time that I'm not sure if I should try to participate.

  11. Yvonne sorry you've been dealing with a lingering cold. I hope you feel better soon and just take care of yourself. I don't think I'm going to reach my GoodReads goal but I've had such a great reading year so far with the quality of books that I'm good with that. Granted, if I could get more free time to read more books that would be awesome. Have a great week!
