The Weekend Review - October 30th-November 1st

The Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted by Kimba the Caffeinated Book Reviewer ~ It's a chance to share news~ A post to recap the past week on your blog, showcase books and things we have received and share news about what is coming up on our blog for the week ahead.

If you'd like to participate with The Sunday Salon, it is now being hosted by Deb at Readerbuzz.

It’s Monday! What Are You Reading is a meme with a new host!  It's now being hosted by Kathryn at Book Date. This is where we share what we read this past week, what we hope to read this week…. and anything in between! This is a great way to plan out your reading week and see what others are currently reading as well… you never know where that next “must read” book will come from!

I'm also linking to  Stacking The Shelves which is hosted by Reading Reality.

Hi Everyone!  Happy Halloween!

This week we haven't had much humidity, but we have had sun and a nice breeze.  Since I'm feeling much better, I was able to walk a few times this week and I went back to listening to audiobooks.  So, that's a plus.

I only finished one book this week, but it was a great one and perfect for Halloween.

I continue to watch all my favorite shows like The Blacklist, New Amsterdam, Survivor and Chicago Fire, PD and Med.  I'm hoping to watch some spooky shows this Halloween weekend, but I'm not sure it will end up happening.  We'll see.

I hope you all have a great week and a fun Halloween!

  5. Yay for walks and audiobooks! I have been visiting family this week so there has been no time for reading or listening, really! But I'll hopefully get plenty of that in next week. I love the mix of thriller and cozy winter reads in your upcoming tours. I hope you have a lovely week ahead :)

  7. It's been wildly windy here. I can't remember a time we had so much wind, outside of a hurricane!

Deserts, Driving, and Derelicts looks good. I will look for your review.

And who could resist Coffee Shop Girl?

  11. Glad you are feeling better and able to get out for walks again. Love that time with an audiobook! It helps that the weather has gotten a little cooler and less humid, too. Take care.

    1. About The Blacklist - yes, I'm enjoying it. I started not to like Liz anyway in the past couple of seasons.
