The Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted by Kimba the Caffeinated Book Reviewer ~ It's a chance to share news~ A post to recap the past week on your blog, showcase books and things we have received and share news about what is coming up on our blog for the week ahead.
If you'd like to participate with The Sunday Salon, it is now being hosted by Deb at Readerbuzz.
It’s Monday! What Are You Reading is a meme with a new host! It's now being hosted by Kathryn at Book Date. This is where we share what we read this past week, what we hope to read this week…. and anything in between! This is a great way to plan out your reading week and see what others are currently reading as well… you never know where that next “must read” book will come from!
I'm also linking to Stacking the Shelves which is hosted by Reading Reality.
Hi Everyone!
Happy Super Bowl Sunday! Happy Valentine's Week! I don't really do anything for either day, but I know many out there do. We'll have the Super Bowl game on, but I don't really pay attention. As for Valentine's Day, we'll probably just have a nice dinner...maybe even the day before to avoid the crowds.
It was a good week. My CT scans came back, and no surgery is needed. Just continued follow up. I'm okay with that.
I finished two books this week. Both were good ones. I'm still binging on Game of Thrones, but I'm going through it fast. I'm up to the final season. I've heard bad reviews of it, but it doesn't matter to me. I'm sure I'll enjoy it and I will be sad to see it end.
I hope everyone has a great week!
We go the day before too sometimes to avoid crowds. And same with Super Bowl- it'll be on but I'm not super into.
ReplyDeleteI'm so glad that your scans have come back and that no surgery is needed! Good news!
ReplyDeleteEnjoy the Superbowl and Valentines' Day. It sounds like you celebrate like we do!
I'm glad you don't need surgery! I have no plans for Valentines Day. I'm going to a super bowl party, but I'm just there for the snacks. :)
ReplyDeleteYou have some tempting titles.
ReplyDeleteI never do anything on Valentine's Day, and while I used to watch the super bowl...not anymore. Glad your scans were good. Enoy your week. Here are my WEEKLY UPDATES
I hope you enjoy the remainder of your GOT watch. I did not like the ending. Have you seen The Last Kingdom, if you enjoyed GOT and are looking for something similar-ish , definitely check it out! So happy you don't need surgery!
ReplyDeleteI'm glad your health news is favorable. Like you, we aren't doing a lot this week. We are going to the zoo on Thursday as sort of a treat.
ReplyDeleteAnne - Books of My Heart This is my Sunday Post
I'm loving the cat mysteries and their covers! So cute. I'm so happy your scans came back negative! Enjoy your week and Valentine's Day!
ReplyDeleteYay for no surgery and for so many free Kindle books. We are not watching the super bowl, and we won't be doing anything other than working for Valentine's day either. Have a great week!
ReplyDeleteYay for no surgery! Hopefully the follow ups continue to go well. I've got Ill-Fated Fortune coming up on my reading list and am really looking forward to reading it. I hope you have a great week!
ReplyDeleteGreat news that you don't need surgery! Hope you have a good week.
ReplyDeleteWe have the added fun of Lundi Gras and Mardi Gras this week, there will be little to no work done in this whole area.
ReplyDeleteI'm glad to read you do not need surgery and pray it continues to be so.
So glad your scans came back good.
ReplyDeleteYAY! That is great news about your test results! I watched the first half of the Super Bowl and the halftime show with my family, then came home. I'm not doing much for Valentine's Day - just watching a Hallmark Valentine movie and reading something Valentine-related. :) Have a great week!
ReplyDeleteIt feels like you can't not watch the last series of GOT having come this far, regardless of the reviews.
ReplyDeleteI’m happy your results were good.
ReplyDeleteI forgot about Valentines until today, though we don’t usually celebrate it really anyway.
Wishing you a happy reading week
Great news on your scans. Praying for continued good news. All your books sound great, especially The Cat Among Us. Hope you have a wonderful week.
