The Weekend Review - February 10th-12th

The Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted by Kimba the Caffeinated Book Reviewer ~ It's a chance to share news~ A post to recap the past week on your blog, showcase books and things we have received and share news about what is coming up on our blog for the week ahead.

If you'd like to participate with The Sunday Salon, it is now being hosted by Deb at Readerbuzz.

It’s Monday! What Are You Reading is a meme with a new host!  It's now being hosted by Kathryn at Book Date. This is where we share what we read this past week, what we hope to read this week…. and anything in between! This is a great way to plan out your reading week and see what others are currently reading as well… you never know where that next “must read” book will come from!

I'm also linking to Stacking the Shelves which is hosted by Reading Reality.

Hi Everyone!

Happy Super Bowl Sunday!  Happy Valentine's Week! I don't really do anything for either day, but I know many out there do.  We'll have the Super Bowl game on, but I don't really pay attention.  As for Valentine's Day, we'll probably just have a nice dinner...maybe even the day before to avoid the crowds.

It was a good week.  My CT scans came back, and no surgery is needed.  Just continued follow up.  I'm okay with that.

I finished two books this week.  Both were good ones.  I'm still binging on Game of Thrones, but I'm going through it fast.  I'm up to the final season.  I've heard bad reviews of it, but it doesn't matter to me.  I'm sure I'll enjoy it and I will be sad to see it end.

I hope everyone has a great week!

Here's my reading list through February.  I'm sure some of these will be carried over into March.

Here is this week's Kindle freebie haul. They were freebies when I got them, I don't know if they still are. Always make sure to check they are still free before buying. The prices change quickly.

  13. YAY! That is great news about your test results! I watched the first half of the Super Bowl and the halftime show with my family, then came home. I'm not doing much for Valentine's Day - just watching a Hallmark Valentine movie and reading something Valentine-related. :) Have a great week!

  14. It feels like you can't not watch the last series of GOT having come this far, regardless of the reviews.

I forgot about Valentines until today, though we don’t usually celebrate it really anyway.
