The Weekend Review - June 1st-3rd

The Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted by Kimba the Caffeinated Book Reviewer ~ It's a chance to share news~ A post to recap the past week on your blog, showcase books and things we have received and share news about what is coming up on our blog for the week ahead.

If you'd like to participate with The Sunday Salon, it is now being hosted by Deb at Readerbuzz.

It’s Monday! What Are You Reading is a meme with a new host!  It's now being hosted by Kathryn at Book Date. This is where we share what we read this past week, what we hope to read this week…. and anything in between! This is a great way to plan out your reading week and see what others are currently reading as well… you never know where that next “must read” book will come from!

I'm also linking to Stacking the Shelves which is hosted by Reading Reality.

Hi Everyone!

Welcome June!  It feels like May went by way too fast.

I'm still reading Mind Games by Nora Roberts.  It's a longer book than I'm used to reading so it's taking me longer, but it's so good.  I went through my June books and made a new schedule for myself.  Anything left over from May I will squeeze in along the way.

My TV season is pretty much done now.  I'm watching the final season of Evil on Paramount +.  I've also been binging on Elsbeth.  Mostly I've been watching baseball and my Yankees.

The weather here is hot and humid, like usual.  Today is a bit overcast and cloudy though. Other than that, it's been quiet here.

I hope you all have a great week!

I'm still reading...

I finished reading ...

I didn't finish anything this week 😦

These are the books I'm hoping to read in June.  I didn't finish all of my May books, so I'll try to sneak a couple through in June.

Here is this week's Kindle freebie haul. They were freebies when I got them, I don't know if they still are. Always make sure to check they are still free before buying. The prices change quickly.

  2. It's been hot and humid here, too, but mostly humid. My dad who lives just down the road from me said we have already had thirty inches of rain this year!

Good luck in getting your May reads in this month.

  7. yes we are going to get back to more hot and humid this week. I liked last week where the north wind made it cooler and less humid.

    Happy reading!
