The Weekend Review - March 15-17th

The Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted by Kimba the Caffeinated Book Reviewer ~ It's a chance to share news~ A post to recap the past week on your blog, showcase books and things we have received and share news about what is coming up on our blog for the week ahead.

If you'd like to participate with The Sunday Salon, it is now being hosted by Deb at Readerbuzz.

It’s Monday! What Are You Reading is a meme with a new host!  It's now being hosted by Kathryn at Book Date. This is where we share what we read this past week, what we hope to read this week…. and anything in between! This is a great way to plan out your reading week and see what others are currently reading as well… you never know where that next “must read” book will come from!

I'm also linking to Stacking the Shelves which is hosted by Reading Reality.

Hi Everyone!

This wasn't an exciting week, but I'm happy not to have excitement.  I had a couple of doctor appointments and all went well with those.  Our weather has been nice and I was able to walk a couple of days.

I only finished one book this week and it's a good one.  I've been watching my shows like Survivor and binging Knots Landing.  I still have to watch this week's The Pitt.  I'm not really watching much TV these days. I'm trying to stay away from too much news.  Just enough so I know what's going on.

Since it's been relatively quiet, there's not much to report this week.  I hope you all have a great week!

  1. I've watched a bunch of clips of The Pitt and it is on my list of shows to watch. I'm really looking forward to the new Murder She Wrote book. I always enjoy them. Have a great week!

  3. I've been watching Survivor too. I don't have any favorites yet because there are still too many players. :)

  4. I'm doing the same thing with the news---just enough to know what's going on. It's great that your appointments went well and that the weather was good and you were able to walk.

    Enjoy your week!

  9. Quiet weeks are welcome. Yeah I am limited my time with the news and making calls once a week, so that I can sleep at night.

  10. I’m glad your appointments went well.
I’m watching The Pitt too, did you hear that the estate of the late Michael Crichton Is suing them stating that the show is a rip off of ER? I can’t see it myself.

Wishing you a happy reading week

    1. I didn't hear that about The Pitt. I don't see it the same as ER either. I think The Pitt is more realistic.

  11. I'm only watching baseball and The Voice and last week I forgot it was Monday and had to catch the episode on Tuesday using On Demand. Our weather has been nice too. Your books look good. I hope you enjoy them. Come see my week here. Happy reading!

  12. We all like quiet weeks even though there is then not much to report! Yes I avoid news as much as possible, I listen to radio news because there are no pictures! I gave up news from one source for Lent and hope to clear it out of my feed on You Tube etc.

  13. I agree about the news, just enough to keep up but not enough to make you crazy.
