The Weekend Review - July 19th-21st

The Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted by Kimba the Caffeinated Book Reviewer ~ It's a chance to share news~ A post to recap the past week on your blog, showcase books and things we have received and share news about what is coming up on our blog for the week ahead.

If you'd like to participate with The Sunday Salon, it is now being hosted by Deb at Readerbuzz.

It’s Monday! What Are You Reading is a meme with a new host!  It's now being hosted by Kathryn at Book Date. This is where we share what we read this past week, what we hope to read this week…. and anything in between! This is a great way to plan out your reading week and see what others are currently reading as well… you never know where that next “must read” book will come from!

I'm also linking to Stacking the Shelves which is hosted by Reading Reality.

Hi Everyone!

We started our week off with thunderstorms and heavy rain.  We ended it with hot temps and humidity.  Seems like this coming week will be more of the same.

I finished two books this week and enjoyed them both.  I watched the series finale of Transplant.  It's such a good show.  I'm going to miss it.  Star Trek's Strange New Worlds started and I enjoyed their season premiere.  I continue to love Dexter Resurrection.  I'm hoping to get to the movies this week to see the new Superman.

It's been quiet here.  Nothing new to report.  Same old, same old...which can be a very good thing.  I don't need any excitement :) I hope everyone has a great week!

  1. That’s a great freebie haul. I managed only two freebies in the last two weeks.

  6. It looks like you are on track to finish your books for July! I am starting to think I am not going to get all the books I wanted to read this summer, read! The month is almost over.

  7. Yeah, we've been having the same weather. I hate that Dexter is streaming elsewhere. I binged all the season on Nextflix a while ago. Maybe it will come to Netflix later.

    1. It probably will. I watch it on Paramount+ but these show bounce around from one streaming service to another. Have a great week!
