The Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted by Kimba the Caffeinated Book Reviewer ~ It's a chance to share news~ A post to recap the past week on your blog, showcase books and things we have received and share news about what is coming up on our blog for the week ahead.
If you'd like to participate with The Sunday Salon, it is now being hosted by Deb at Readerbuzz.
It’s Monday! What Are You Reading is a meme with a new host! It's now being hosted by Kathryn at Book Date. This is where we share what we read this past week, what we hope to read this week…. and anything in between! This is a great way to plan out your reading week and see what others are currently reading as well… you never know where that next “must read” book will come from!
I'm also linking to Stacking the Shelves which is hosted by Reading Reality.
Hi Everyone!
We started our week off with thunderstorms and heavy rain. We ended it with hot temps and humidity. Seems like this coming week will be more of the same.
I finished two books this week and enjoyed them both. I watched the series finale of Transplant. It's such a good show. I'm going to miss it. Star Trek's Strange New Worlds started and I enjoyed their season premiere. I continue to love Dexter Resurrection. I'm hoping to get to the movies this week to see the new Superman.
It's been quiet here. Nothing new to report. Same old, same old...which can be a very good thing. I don't need any excitement :) I hope everyone has a great week!
That’s a great freebie haul. I managed only two freebies in the last two weeks.
ReplyDeleteI just have to make time to read the freebies. Have a great week!
DeleteHm... thunderstorms! We're due to get a bunch of those - I'm not a fan. Still, we do need the rain! And yippee for same old, same old - long may it continue, Yvonne:)).
ReplyDeleteI'm not liking thunderstorms either. Ours seem gone for now. Have a great week!
DeleteI like Star Trek so I will have to check out Strange New Worlds.
ReplyDeleteI love the show.
DeleteWe saw Superman this week. I liked it. We also finished watching Murderbot--loved it!
ReplyDeleteI'll have to try Murderbot. Hopefully I'll see Superman during the week.
DeleteI'm really eager to see the new season of Strange New Worlds---I honestly did not realize there was going to be a third season. Glad you enjoyed both of the books you read.
ReplyDeleteI love Strange New Worlds. New episodes come out on Thursdays. Have a great week!
DeleteIt looks like you are on track to finish your books for July! I am starting to think I am not going to get all the books I wanted to read this summer, read! The month is almost over.
ReplyDeleteI think I should be able to complete the two books I have for July. I'm hoping I can read more in August. Have a great week!
DeleteYeah, we've been having the same weather. I hate that Dexter is streaming elsewhere. I binged all the season on Nextflix a while ago. Maybe it will come to Netflix later.

It probably will. I watch it on Paramount+ but these show bounce around from one streaming service to another. Have a great week!
DeleteWe are loving Dexter, but found the first 2 episodes of Strange New Worlds boring. XO
ReplyDeleteStrange New Worlds was good. I thought the second episode was better than the first. Hopefully it all gets better. Have a great week!
DeleteWe pretty much had the same weather as you over and over this past week . Stay cool!
ReplyDeleteAnne - Books of My Heart This is my Sunday Post
Thanks. You too!
DeleteLooks like a lot of people are getting hit with storms lately. We had one today. Finding Home and The Cat with Wings caught my eye this week. Hope you enjoy your books.

At least our storms finally stopped. Now it's hot and humid. Hope you have a great week!
DeleteYay for boring weeks! We had rain and thunderstorms this week too. We could still use more rain. Come see my week here. Happy reading!
ReplyDeleteThe thing about a good show - they do come to an end. Like a good book I guess!
ReplyDeleteI read Nora Roberts Year One awhile back - seemed different than her usual! But I always enjoy her writing. Have a great week!
ReplyDeleteI'm reading Something Whiskered right now and enjoying it and just picked up a copy of Year One. Somehow I missed the series when it came out. I hope you have a great week!
