Booking through Thursday - Bookmarks

This week's question...

Suggested by Tammy:

What items have you ever used as a bookmark? What is the most unusual item you’ve ever used or seen used?

My answer...

I love bookmarks. I used to buy them as I love all the designs I've seen the stores - some include beads, pictures of cats, etc. I still use those, but now I also use postcards from places I've been to. It makes me feel like I'm still on vacation :) Sometimes I use the free ones authors send out or the free ones at the counters at bookstores. I, also, use cash register receipts or anything that might be around, if I don't happen to have a bookmark handy.

I've never used anything that's unusual. Anything I've used is pretty typical and others use the same type of things.

  4. I've used many of the items you mention as bookmars. And like you, I have quite a collection of ones I've bought over the years. Some get more use than others.

I can't really think of anything unusual I've used either. Maybe a paperclip (not actually attached because I hate to hurt the pages)or a coin to temporarily hold my place, but I imagine many have done that in a pinch.

  5. I am slowly building up a collection of bookmarks. I often use photos to mark my pages.

After some careful consideration, I've decided to become an award-free blog. Although I appreciate and am honored by each and every award I've received, your comments and friendship are enough award for me. Thank you all so much for your thoughtfulness.

Due to way too many spam comments, I disabled the Anonymous User comments. We'll see if this works, otherwise I'll have to go back to word verification.
