What amazing weather we are getting here in New York! Temperatures are around 70 degrees and the sun is shining. It's feeling like Summer. Earlier in the week we had a scare - there were some major brush fires about 5 minutes from where we live. Fortunately, it didn't effect my neighborhood but it was scary and pretty close. Thankfully, the fires have been put out and everything is back to normal.
I finished a few books this week...
Whisker of Evil by Rita Mae Brown (an audio)
Woodrose Mountain by RaeAnne Thayne
The Beautiful People: New York City by Cheril N. Clarke (Novella)
The Hudson Agency - Chicago Style by Ellie Oberth (Novella)
All were really good. Just click the titles above to read my reviews.
I'm currently reading Copycat Kill by Sofie Kelly. It's really good (how could magical cats be anything but good?). I will be hosting a book giveaway and the author is doing a guest blog. It should be ready in the next couple of days.
Thanks to Berkley, and some wonderful cozy authors, I will be hosting several book giveaways, reviews and author visits in the next few weeks. So stay tuned!
Wouldn't you know it, I planned to do some blog hopping today but my Internet connection went down. Figures! Best laid plans and all that... Oh well, I did manage to get some reading in :)
Anyway, I hope everyone has a great reading week!

Thank you for stopping by and visiting my blog! I always love reading comments and getting to know my readers!
After some careful consideration, I've decided to become an award-free blog. Although I appreciate and am honored by each and every award I've received, your comments and friendship are enough award for me. Thank you all so much for your thoughtfulness.
Due to way too many spam comments, I disabled the Anonymous User comments. We'll see if this works, otherwise I'll have to go back to word verification.

Happy reading Yvonne. This weather is crazy warm, and this upcoming week is supposed to be high 80's.
ReplyDeleteScary about those brush fires.
Oh, you have some wonderful books listed...I haven't read anything by Rita Mae Brown in awhile, but I'm eager to resume!
ReplyDeleteThanks for visiting my salon...and enjoy your week.
WOW: So hot! Here it just snowed again
ReplyDeleteIt sounds beautiful back east. We've just had a final "winter storm", but today the sun is back. Enjoy your Sunday. I hope to sit out and read for a bit.
ReplyDeleteThat had to be so scary with the fires. I burn Yankee candles morning til night and I always check to make sure they are out when I leave the house. It's been a beautiful weekend here in RI too, however, not looking forward to the humidity that will be around the corner. Have a great week and thanks for stopping by.
ReplyDeleteGlad the weather is good for you right now! Spring can be such a beautiful time of year!
