Sunday/Monday Posts - February 14th and 15th

The Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted by Kimba the Caffeinated Book Reviewer ~ It's a chance to share news~ A post to recap the past week on your blog, showcase books and things we have received and share news about what is coming up on our blog for the week ahead.

If you'd like to participate with The Sunday Salon, it is now a Facebook group.

It’s Monday! What Are You Reading is a meme hosted by Sheila at Book Journey. This is where we share what we read this past week, what we hope to read this week…. and anything in between! This is a great way to plan out your reading week and see what others are currently reading as well… you never know where that next “must read” book will come from!

I'm also linking to  Stacking The Shelves which is hosted by Team Tynga's Reviews.

Hello Everyone!

I don't know how it is where you are but here it's freezing.  We're having ridiculously low temps and now they say we are going to get another 7 inches of snow...when is spring going to get here already?

I've been enjoying my TV shows and books.  I'm not reading very fast but I'm reading some excellent cozy mysteries and watching great TV shows.  What else do I need?

Besides the disgusting weather, not much else is going on around here.  I just need to find more reading time somehow, but I know many of you have the same problem.

I hope you all have a great week, read many great books and stay warm, if you are in this cold weather!

What was your week like? What are you reading this week?

  1. TV has definitely been getting me lately! There's just too many great shows and too many great books so I feel all pulled to pieces. Stay warm with all that awful weather and have a great week!

  2. We're getting nast weather too, very cold and negative wind chill. Hope you stay warm, and enjoy the reads and the shows!

  3. We never had any real snow this winter ! Twice, we caught some snowflakes falling but they rapidly melted, so no snowman :( This week, we're beginning to have crazy march weather, sun and blue sky, then wind and rain, cold, average temperates, all in the same day. Stay warm and cozy at home, have a great week ;)

  5. Books and cable are the only way to get through this unpleasant weather. It's my excuse for spending so much time on the sofa.

    My recap:

  6. Looks like you had some interesting books on the blog this week. :D Hope next week goes just as good!

  7. We're lucky here in the UK that we haven't had any major snow problems yet. We normally get them around April though. We're behind on everything! lol

    Have a good week x

  8. SEnd some of the cold my way please!

  9. I love reading and TV...and the occasional movie. I read less this week, but savored each one. I almost hate to say that it feels like spring here...but I know we'll still get some rain and maybe even storms. Not snow, however. Sorry....

Enjoy your week...I love the look of The Case of the Killer Divorce.

  10. We are experiencing the same weather. It was a blizzard on Friday and now the temps are in the negative. Great excuse to stay home and read.

  11. Sorry to hear so cold. The cover for The Deep End put a smile on my face.Guess that means I need to check it out. Happy reading.

  12. We're freezing too. My skin is so dry from it. We were supposed to get two feet of snow and a huge blizzard but it stopped about 50 miles south of us. We got just a few3 more inches - but we have enough already.

  13. I've been into Tv more than usual too. And my favorite show, The Walking Dead, just started back up and comes on in a little bit so trying to hop to some posts before I have to glue to the TV! LOL

  14. We're only just starting to get decent TV shows recommencing here in Australia after the summer non-ratings period.

And yes, it's been summer here but it's nearly over. Thankfully! I'm looking forward to winter, but having said that, ours is very mild!

  15. Temps are cool in Minnesota but we have had worse. Hope it warms up for you.

  16. It's been warm enough here that I've had the air con on today. I've kept busy with books and tv this week too.

    Read on,

  17. In Boston we got a bunch of snow yesterday and more coming Tues. it's getting ridiculous! At least we can read while snowed in.

  18. The weather has been horrid but at least you've had good shows and good books. It is hard some days to find time to read, but who needs sleep? :P Stay warm and happy reading!

  19. Deep End does look good, and Flan in the title gets me hungry !
    Here's my MONDAY READING

  20. Perfect time for reading to forget the nasty weather. Have a great week! ♥
