The Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted by Kimba the Caffeinated Book Reviewer ~ It's a chance to share news~ A post to recap the past week on your blog, showcase books and things we have received and share news about what is coming up on our blog for the week ahead.
If you'd like to participate with The Sunday Salon, it is now a Facebook group.
It’s Monday! What Are You Reading is a meme with a new host! It's now being hosted by Kathryn at Book Date. This is where we share what we read this past week, what we hope to read this week…. and anything in between! This is a great way to plan out your reading week and see what others are currently reading as well… you never know where that next “must read” book will come from!
I'm also linking to Stacking The Shelves which is hosted by Team Tynga's Reviews.
Happy Sunday!
After having a week of record-breaking warm temps, we now have chillier temps (which are more in line with the Fall season, plus rain). It's now the perfect weather for staying inside, getting cozy and reading and catching up with my TV shows. My favorite things to do :)
It's so strange because I'm getting quite a few Christmas books to review and it just feels so early. I usually don't start reading Christmas books until Thanksgiving. But...I'm enjoying them and the one I'm reading now is Jill Shalvis and I always love her books. I, also, seem to be in a romance reading mood so the Christmas books fit in very well with that. So much for wanting to read scarier type books for October. LOL
Tomorrow is the season premiere of The Walking Dead. I've been looking forward to that since the season ended. I will probably watch it as it airs instead of letting it sit on my DVR.
Other than that, it's been pretty quiet over here.
How have things been by you?
Yvonne

I do wish xmas books could be read in Dec but oh well
ReplyDeleteI don't know why I haven't read anything by Jill Shalvis...her books look very tempting. Thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteEnjoy your reading & TV shows...here are MY WEEKLY UPDATES
Great looking books this week. I've already got a lot of my Christmas reading planned too. I can't wait for The Walking Dead!
ReplyDeleteI feel distinctly unchristmassy right now so will put off the Christmas reads till a bit later.
ReplyDeleteNO, not Christmas already. :-(

So many great books to snuggle up with:) It was record hot here and now more like fall. Enjoying having the windows open today!
ReplyDeleteI'll be glued to the telly tonight too. I'm so scared to find out who died. Negan is sexy yet so brutal.
My Sunday Post
Wow, look at that reading list!
ReplyDeleteI read the Jill Shalvis and liked it. I have the next two in the series including the novella with Rory and Max. I've been reading Christmas stories too, obviously, and it does feel odd. Are you doing the Ho Ho Ho Read-a-Thin next month? I've saved a bunch of stories for that one.
Happy reading and enjoy curling up on the couch in the cool weather.
Karma's a Killer and A Fatal Twist both look fun. And I'm ready for TWD too- although I'm a little nervous about the premiere!
ReplyDeleteThe holidays are creeping up so soon! It's crazy. How is the Shalvis book? I have the previous one, Sweet Little Lies, but I have not read it yet. I hope you enjoy all of your new books!
ReplyDeleteHave a fabulous week. :)
Check out my STS post!
The Cupcake Caper looks good- cats and cupcakes :) We had a warm week too and now it is chilly.
ReplyDeleteI refuse to read Christmas books yet! LOL
ReplyDeleteGreat line up and I think while they are getting the Christmas books out now many of them are plots that sort of lead up to the day, so I always like the good spirit of them.
ReplyDeleteNice cozies and romance! I get in the mood for those two genres close to the holidays, just a habit of mine to reach for quieter, sweeter and happier stories around the holiday season time. Thanks for sharing them.
ReplyDeleteI like food mystery so the Eclair review will be interesting- I haven't ever read the Tracy Weber ones either- fun picks!
