Love to Prove You Wrong is a sweet romantic comedy and the second book in the Old Pine Cove series. All books share the same setting, but each story features a different couple.

My Review

Back in high school, Justin Miller constantly teased Addison “Addy” Grant which caused her to have very low self esteem. As an adult, she’s doing very well and even has her own inn. When Justin Miller checks into her inn, she’s not pleased to say the least. The last thing she wants is a reminder of her high school days.

Justin Miller has aged well. He’s handsome and is a very popular celebrity. All the women are chasing him, but he can’t stop thinking of the girl he used to know in high school, Addy.

Addy is quite busy these days. Her inn is hosting a wedding and she’s the wedding planner. It’s not bad enough her duck keeps escaping, but her old nemesis Justin Miller is the best man. To make matters worse, Justin wants to prove he’s no longer the immature kid from high school. Addy wants no part of him, but these two can’t seem to stay apart. The sparks fly whenever they are together.

This is the second book in the Old Pine Cove series, but it absolutely can stand on its own. It has nothing to do with the storyline from the first book except it’s set in the same town and a character or two makes an appearance.

It’s a fun way to spend a weekend. I’m calling this book a great stress-reliever at a time when many of us can use one. The characters are lively, well developed and just so darn cute. This is the perfect escape - the author totally transported me into her world. I’m looking forward to my next visit to Pine Cove.
