My Review

Maisie McNamara has been missing her friend Jonas Brown for years. She made one mistake and they haven’t spoken in a very long time. 

Now, her best friend Lily is getting married. Maisie is completely wrapped up in the upcoming wedding when suddenly she finds herself thrown back to her years as a teenager in the 1990’s. She can’t help but wonder if this is a chance for her to make things right with Jonas, but can she really change history like that? 

This book is a unique take on time travel. Maisie travels back to her teen years. It happens when she falls asleep or is photographed. Then, she immediately comes back to the present day without anyone else knowing. 

Jennifer Joyce gives readers a sweet, fantasy holiday read. It’s perfect for the Christmas season. It gives you hope for the future as well as coming to terms with the past. It’s a story of friendship and accepting friends no matter what happens. 

I loved all the characters in this book. It’s one of those books that gives you “warm fuzzies” after the last page is turned.  It's the definition of a "feel good" read.

Jennifer Joyce is a writer of romantic comedies who lives in Manchester with her husband and their two daughters.
