Beginning:
I gripped the armrests of my seat as the jet accelerated down the runway with a roar of its engines. The plane lifted into the air like an eagle in flight.

I got this as a freebie audio book from Chirp. I've been enjoying it so far. It reminds me a bit of books by Susan Mallery, Mary Kay Andrews and Debbie Macomber.
