This week's question...
1. Do you read books about sports?
2. How about AT sporting events? (Kid’s soccer practice?)
My answer...
I love baseball and the Yankees, so I will read books about them, if they interest me. I do love reading sports romances - I prefer baseball romances, but I will read other sports too - football, hockey, basketball, etc. I'm familiar with all those sports even if they aren't favorites of mine.
As for reading at sporting events, the only time I go to sporting events is to see a Yankee game and I get too caught up in the game to even want to try and read. I don't have children so going to kid's sports practices aren't an issue for me. I probably wouldn't read there anyway because there would be too many distractions.

Thank you for stopping by and visiting my blog! I always love reading comments and getting to know my readers!
After some careful consideration, I've decided to become an award-free blog. Although I appreciate and am honored by each and every award I've received, your comments and friendship are enough award for me. Thank you all so much for your thoughtfulness.
Due to way too many spam comments, I disabled the Anonymous User comments. We'll see if this works, otherwise I'll have to go back to word verification.

I agree about there being too many distractions at sporting events to read!

I can't read at sporting events, but I can read at amusement parks, once in a while!
ReplyDeleteI didn't know "sports romances" were a subgenre of romance! Makes sense though. There seems to be a subgenre for fire fighters, military folks, doctors, cops... just another uniform I guess!
ReplyDeleteI love sports romances!! I'm actually hosting a sports romance challenge this year. But I don't watch real life ones AT ALL. On tv or real life. Just so not my thing. But reading them? LOVE! LOL
