The Weekend Review - June 15th - 17th

The Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted by Kimba the Caffeinated Book Reviewer ~ It's a chance to share news~ A post to recap the past week on your blog, showcase books and things we have received and share news about what is coming up on our blog for the week ahead.

If you'd like to participate with The Sunday Salon, it is now being hosted by Deb at Readerbuzz.

It’s Monday! What Are You Reading is a meme with a new host!  It's now being hosted by Kathryn at Book Date. This is where we share what we read this past week, what we hope to read this week…. and anything in between! This is a great way to plan out your reading week and see what others are currently reading as well… you never know where that next “must read” book will come from!

I'm also linking to  Stacking The Shelves which is hosted by Team Tynga's Reviews.

Happy Weekend!

What a week!  I've been sick all week with bronchitis.  So has my husband.  As a result, I haven't felt like doing anything including reading.  I always think when I'm sick I will get alot of reading done, but it never ends up working out that way.  I end up not being able to concentrate.  I did more sleeping than anything else.  It's still with me, but I feel like I'm getting better each day.

I've had many blog tours lately.  Fortunately, I was able to pre-schedule those posts so they didn't get any delays while I wasn't feeling well.

I did start watching the new season of Designated Survivor on Netflix.  The first couple of episodes were good.  It's nice to have this show back.

Other than that, there's not much to report from here.  How are things in your corner of the world?  I hope everyone has a great week!

Yvonne

  2. Sorry to hear you were sick all week... hope you're both better for the week ahead. I'm glad you enjoyed Montauk and have added it to my list. I've never been all the way out there, but my daughter has and she loves it.

  12. I am so sorry you are both ill. Bronchitis is dreadful. I know what you mean about reading while sick. I am able to listen to audiobooks, or watch movies but sometimes reading is hard. Feel better.

  13. I've seen Montauk about quite a bit. Sorry you were sick, and yes when we are sick reading is just too much brain energy required. Take care.
