The Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted by Kimba the Caffeinated Book Reviewer ~ It's a chance to share news~ A post to recap the past week on your blog, showcase books and things we have received and share news about what is coming up on our blog for the week ahead.
If you'd like to participate with The Sunday Salon, it is now being hosted by Deb at Readerbuzz.
It’s Monday! What Are You Reading is a meme with a new host! It's now being hosted by Kathryn at Book Date. This is where we share what we read this past week, what we hope to read this week…. and anything in between! This is a great way to plan out your reading week and see what others are currently reading as well… you never know where that next “must read” book will come from!
I'm also linking to Stacking The Shelves which is hosted by Reading Reality.
Hi Everyone!
I hope your November is off to a good start. The weather here has mostly been beautiful with sun and temps in the 70's with no humidity. Yesterday we did have alot of rain, but that's over now and it's really lovely. I did manage to walk a few times this week.
I finished two books this week, both were great cozy mysteries from two of my favorite series. I've been watching my TV shows and I'm really excited for the new Dexter sequel. It starts tomorrow and should be good.
I'm in the process of putting together the sign ups for the reading challenges I host. I hosted four last year and I will continue to host them in 2022 - Cruisin' thru the Cozies Reading Challenge, The Purrfect Reading Challenge, What An Animal Reading Challenge and NetGalley and Edelweiss Reading Challenge. I'll be posting them some time in November. So, if you are interested, keep your eyes open for the sign up pages.
I'll be joining a few reading challenges that others host as well. I didn't finish them all this year but I always have fun searching for the right books to read.
I hope you all have a great week! Take care and stay safe!

ReplyDeleteI remember watching Dexter years and years ago but never finishing it. I'm planning on re-watching one day!
ReplyDelete"The matza ball" looks fantastic. I love reading books that celebrate interfaith. May I recommend "The Intimacy experiment" that features a rabbi as the MC
ReplyDeleteIt's always so much fun to join a challenge, especially one that might take you to places you might not have known about. Thank you for hosting these.
ReplyDeleteI hope you are enjoying Deserts, Driving, and Derelicts. It looks like a lot of fun.
We've been enjoying the gorgeous weather the last few days, too... blissfully cool and no humidity! I haven't joined challenges the past few years, but am actually considering a couple for next year. Hope you have a good week.
ReplyDeleteI'm going to try and read more cozies. Your books look fun this week.
ReplyDeleteHope you have a great weekend!
Hope you are having a great weekend. We're looking forward to Dexter too and have actually started watching the whole series again. We're in the middle of season 2.Hope you have a great week and lots of good books ahead.
ReplyDeleteI usually don't do any challenges other than the Goodreads challenge. But, this summer, I did our library's challenge and it was great fun. So, I'm thinking about maybe taking on a challenge in 2020. We'll see! - Melinda @ A Web of Stories
ReplyDeleteCozies certainly make great reading and when its a good series they are addictive.
ReplyDeleteI’m glad you enjoyed your books.
ReplyDeleteI’m starting to put together the details for my 2022 Nonfiction Reader Challenge too. I think there are two challenges I’ll fail this year disappointingly.
Wishing you a great reading week
I have the Secret of Snow on my list -- I'm looking forward to it.
ReplyDeleteNanny Dearest is on my list, along with My Darling Husband. I am also ready to read some good cozy mysteries.

We are going through a warm spell, which will make heading to San Diego easier.
