The Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted by Kimba the Caffeinated Book Reviewer ~ It's a chance to share news~ A post to recap the past week on your blog, showcase books and things we have received and share news about what is coming up on our blog for the week ahead.
If you'd like to participate with The Sunday Salon, it is now being hosted by Deb at Readerbuzz.
It’s Monday! What Are You Reading is a meme with a new host! It's now being hosted by Kathryn at Book Date. This is where we share what we read this past week, what we hope to read this week…. and anything in between! This is a great way to plan out your reading week and see what others are currently reading as well… you never know where that next “must read” book will come from!
I'm also linking to Stacking The Shelves which is hosted by Reading Reality.
Hi Everyone!
Overall, the weather in Florida has been pleasant. Nice enough for me to walk a few times this week. We've also had some rain but nothing terrible.
I really, really can't believe it's Thanksgiving week. It will be a quiet one for us, but it sure seems like it came pretty fast.
I only finished two books this week. I kind of feel rushed in reading now December is almost here. I want to finish my Goodreads challenge. I didn't finish last year and I would really like to complete it this year. I think I will but the calendar is moving too fast!
I've been watching the new Dexter and really enjoying it.
I hope everyone who is celebrating Thanksgiving this week has a wonderful, safe and healthy holiday.
I hope everyone has a great week! Take care and stay safe!

ReplyDeleteForests, Fishing, and Forgery has a great cover. The covers and the titles have made me curious about this series.
ReplyDeleteThis year has been crazy fast. They say that life speeds up when you get older. Well, it has!
Happy Thanksgiving, Yvonne!
December has a way of just suddenly being here!
ReplyDeleteWishing you a great reading week, happy Thanksgiving
I still have my eye on Nanny Dearest and My Darling Husband.
ReplyDeleteI'm planning a small Thanksgiving with vaccinated friends.
Here are my WEEKLY UPDATES
I'm kind of shocked that December is right around the corner, too. Hope you have a Happy Thanksgiving... enjoy your books this week!
ReplyDeleteHappy Thanksgiving! I've given up on my Goodreads challenge. I suspect I'll be 10 books short of my goal. Oh well. I'll try again next year!
ReplyDeleteHappily Evan After looks great. they should have more cartoon covers on romances with guys with sarcastic grins. Love it! hope your thanksgiving is great!
ReplyDeleteHow many more books til you reach your challenge goal? I was really shocked when I reached mine, recently. It's only 50 but I've struggled to reach 50 the past few years.
ReplyDeleteWHAT IS THAT WRITERS CATS BOOK????? I love that cover!!! I just realized I told another blogger that I love a book cover she posted a well I need to find a way to track that. A Goodreads shelf perhaps? I could call it "Covers I Love"? Note to self: I think it was Deb @ readerbuzz's current post where I saw the other cover.
Dexter!!! Yes! I'm watching that as well since I loved the original so much. I wonder if his son has killed anyone. Will they become a father & son killing team? Ridding the world of evil people?
Who has that girl locked up in a room? I feel like I missed something...who she is and how she got there???
Ok have a great Thanksgiving!!! And yes, it came up fast! Just placed an order for all my Thanksgiving ingredients and will go pick them up at 2pm CT. Then, let the cooking and baking begin! And the dish washing. lol
I can't believe Thanksgiving is here either! I am feeling the pressure to wrap up my challenges and I think I am going to fall short. Most years I do make my Goodreads challenge, I'll be close. But one of my other challenges I have given up on - it requires a certain type of book and I am just not in the mood. Oh well!
ReplyDeleteHave a lovely Thanksgiving!
Hope you enjoyed The Writer's Cats. I thought it was fun. Have a great Thanksgiving Yvonne.
ReplyDeleteThe Writer's Cats looks good. We are loving Dexter.
ReplyDeleteAll the best with your reading plans to meet your GR goal. Yes November end seems to have rushed up upon us. May your quiet Thanksgiving still be special.
ReplyDeleteHappy Thanksgiving! I really enjoyed Little Girl Gone and hope you do too. Come see my week here. Happy reading!
ReplyDeleteThe end of the year is going by so fast! I think I'm going to hit my Goodreads goal too which is always good. We had a very quiet Thanksgiving last year and it was a nice change from the craziness. I hope you have a wonderful week!
