My Review
The Paradise Cove Mystery Society, along with Detective Whiskers, is back for another adventure. The Parrot Eyes Inn is hosting a mystery writers conference and Sheila Mason is helping at the reception desk. In case you didn’t know, Sheila is Detective Whiskers’ human, and he watches over her at all times.
When a dead body is found, all the evidence points to someone who couldn’t possibly be the culprit. Sheila ends up finding herself under suspicion. No way is Detective Whiskers going to allow that to happen. He’s on the case!
The storyline is intriguing with many interesting characters. A murder surrounded by mystery writers is the perfect setting. I wasn’t sure who the killer was, and it was fun to watch the story unfold.
This is book #4 of the series. Although each mystery is contained in each book, I recommend reading this series from book #1 to get the full Detective Whiskers experience. It gives you a chance to find out exactly how he became a detective and how he and Sheila ended up in Paradise Cove.
I truly love this series. It’s narrated by Detective Whiskers, so we only get the cat’s point of view. He always makes me laugh as he tries to figure out the antics of the humans. For me, it’s the perfect series to pick me up when I’m feeling down. It always leaves me smiling and it can be read in one sitting.
I can't wait to read the next one!

That looks interesting.
ReplyDeleteI like the idea of reading from the cat's point of view.
