The Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted by Kimba the Caffeinated Book Reviewer ~ It's a chance to share news~ A post to recap the past week on your blog, showcase books and things we have received and share news about what is coming up on our blog for the week ahead.
If you'd like to participate with The Sunday Salon, it is now being hosted by Deb at Readerbuzz.
It’s Monday! What Are You Reading is a meme with a new host! It's now being hosted by Kathryn at Book Date. This is where we share what we read this past week, what we hope to read this week…. and anything in between! This is a great way to plan out your reading week and see what others are currently reading as well… you never know where that next “must read” book will come from!
I'm also linking to Stacking the Shelves which is hosted by Reading Reality.
Hi Everyone!
Last week was a relatively quiet week. The x-rays from my arm came back. They were negative. They found nothing wrong, but the pain is still there. Since hot showers seem to help, I can't help think it might just be a muscular thing, but I don't know for sure. The weather here has been pretty wet. Maybe that's a cause. Who knows?
Anyway, I managed to read three books this week. They were good ones. I put together my September and October reading schedule. Only a couple of Kindle freebies this week.
I'm still not watching much TV. I've been enjoying my books instead.
It's a three-day holiday weekend in the US. We have no special plans especially with the bad weather we've been having. I'm just hoping to do some reading.
So, how was your week? I hope you all have a great upcoming week!

I hope that you find the cause of your pain. They do say that weather can affect things. The weather has been strange here. Luckily we haven't had the heatwave of over 30 degrees C that we were threatened with yet which I am grateful for!
ReplyDeleteHave a nice long weekend.

Our weather this summer has been strange. We had the hurricane then a couple of weeks of more rain. Then came hot, dry weeks. Last week was rain every day. This is not our usual pattern!
ReplyDeleteI'm glad nothing was found in your arm, but that really doesn't explain the pain. Hope it is just muscle problems that can be soothed.
Hope your arm feels better soon. XO
ReplyDeleteMy daughter has a lot of pain and uses heating pads and ice packs sometimes to help, in addition to warm showers. I also plan to read We Solve Murders, Love You a Latke and A New Lease on Death. I like time at home with no plans.

Hope the arm feels better soon. I set up future reading calendars this week too. I asked for We Solve Murders but haven't been approved yet. I do have A New Lease on Death on my stack. Come see my week here. Happy reading!
ReplyDeleteHope your arm feels better soon... glad you've found something that helps though. Your September books look good!
ReplyDeleteThe Banned Books Club looks really interesting. I hope your arm calms down, it may just need a lot of rest!
ReplyDeleteI'm the type to let things go for months before going to the doctor if the pain isn't unbearable or continuous, and generally find that muscle pain eventually goes away if I just keep going on as usual. But you never know whether rest or movement is what's needed!
ReplyDeleteHope your pain is better soon!
I'm sorry that you weren't able to get answers about your arm. That's so frustrating. I have issues with my shoulders and am trying regular massages after trying just about everything else. So far so good! I have A New Lease on Death coming up on my reading list and am so looking forward to it. I hope you're having a great week!
ReplyDeleteI am glad they ruled oout anything awful with the xrays so I guess it's muscular? Youy mentioned lots of rain and depending on weather, my arthritis gives me fits in cold weather or very damp. Hope you find some relief soon.
ReplyDeleteCool list of books!
