My Review

Olivia and her parrot partner Chico are back for another cruise ship adventure.  Olivia is still trying to recover from losing her boyfriend/magician partner.  Her best friend Haley is doing her best to help her and to train Chico to be a partner too.  Chico is a little scene stealer.  What a cutie. I love the uniqueness of a parrot as one of the main characters.

Things don’t always go smoothly on a cruise ship.  When strange things start happening, security turns their eyes on Olivia as the guilty party.  She’s completely innocent but only Chico and Haley believe in her.  She’s determined to find the real guilty party.

The cruise is filled with a cast of quirky characters each with their own drama.  It’s fun to go cruising and never leave home to do it.  I feel as if I was on the cruise with them.

I’m looking forward to the next book in this series.  It makes for the perfect weekend escape.

  1. A cruise ship would be a scary place to deal with a murder!

  2. "Locked" on a boat, you really need to be on your toes, it makes for a similar feel to a locked room mystery, I'm sure.
