The Weekend Review - October 19th-21st

The Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted by Kimba the Caffeinated Book Reviewer ~ It's a chance to share news~ A post to recap the past week on your blog, showcase books and things we have received and share news about what is coming up on our blog for the week ahead.

If you'd like to participate with The Sunday Salon, it is now being hosted by Deb at Readerbuzz.

It’s Monday! What Are You Reading is a meme with a new host!  It's now being hosted by Kathryn at Book Date. This is where we share what we read this past week, what we hope to read this week…. and anything in between! This is a great way to plan out your reading week and see what others are currently reading as well… you never know where that next “must read” book will come from!

I'm also linking to Stacking the Shelves which is hosted by Reading Reality.

Hi Everyone!

I hope everyone is having a great weekend.  It's been a quiet week here and a quiet weekend.  I have nothing exciting planned, but that's fine with me.  I'm just catching up with blog stuff and reading.

I read two books this week and both were actually Kindle freebies.  I get so many of them and I'm afraid I'll never get a chance to read them.  This week, I read two and really loved both of them.  Reading cozy mysteries is always so relaxing to me.

Many TV shows came back this week, but I'm falling behind on those.  Not for any reason except that I've been doing other things.  The only show I really keep up with is Survivor.  Although I did watch Fire Country and Blue Bloods this week.  They were good.

I don't have much planned for the week.  Just the usual stuff.  I hope you all have a great week!

I'm currently reading...

I finished reading ...

These are the books on my October reading schedule.

Here is this week's Kindle freebie haul.  They were freebies when I got them, I don't know if they still are. Always make sure to check they are still free before buying. The prices change quickly.

  1. I decided to read (mostly) instead of watching tv in 2003, and I've never been sorry for deciding to do that. I'm not sure why reading makes me feel happy.

I'm looking forward to a quieter week next week!

  9. Quiet is good! I loved We Solve Murders. I'm not really watching tv as I'm out poll greeting for the elections.

  21. I haven't been able to keep up with Survivor since they switched to 90 minutes a week. Just too long for me. I have been enjoying The Summit though. Hope you're having a great week.
