The Weekend Review - April 19th-21st

The Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted by Kimba the Caffeinated Book Reviewer ~ It's a chance to share news~ A post to recap the past week on your blog, showcase books and things we have received and share news about what is coming up on our blog for the week ahead.

If you'd like to participate with The Sunday Salon, it is now being hosted by Deb at Readerbuzz.

It’s Monday! What Are You Reading is a meme with a new host!  It's now being hosted by Kathryn at Book Date. This is where we share what we read this past week, what we hope to read this week…. and anything in between! This is a great way to plan out your reading week and see what others are currently reading as well… you never know where that next “must read” book will come from!

I'm also linking to Stacking the Shelves which is hosted by Reading Reality.

Hi Everyone!

Happy Easter to all those who celebrate!

The weeks keep going by faster and faster all the time.  I feel like I just wrote last Sunday's post and here we are again.

I'm happy to say that my physical therapy was completed this week.  I do have exercises to do at home for my arm, but overall, my arm is much improved and back to being its old self :)

I finished three books which was nice after not finishing any last week.  I watched my regular shows Survivor, 911, Chicago Med, PD and Fire.  I won't say any spoilers but 911 was a shocker.  I watched the first couple of episodes of the new season of Black Mirror and they were really good.

Other than that, it's been quiet here.  How was your week?  I hope the upcoming week is a good one for everyone.

  5. I'm glad physical therapy has helped you and you've completed it. I am working on making strength training more of a routine. I learned several exercises when I did physical therapy. It really makes a difference. Have a great week! :)

  9. Book Club for Troublesome Women sounds like something I would like because I am always troublesome at book club...often my opinions no match others' opinions. Happy Easter.

  13. I am glad that the PT is yielding good results.

I finally finished Knots Landing, and it was a good experience, since I hadn't seen a lot of these episodes.

I had some favorite characters, of course; like Paige and Valene.

Not a fan of Karen, for some reason, lol.

    Enjoy your week.

  17. Yay for finishing PT! You've gotten some great reading done this week. I enjoyed the new Vera Wong. The start was a little slower and it did tackle some pretty dark topics but it was really good. I hope you're having a great week!
