My Review
Eliza Ramsey is babysitting for her niece Piper. They are having a great time, but then Eliza’s sister, Bea, fails to pick up her daughter. Eliza panics. She tries to contact her, but she’s unsuccessful. Eliza fears something terrible has happened to her sister.
The police aren’t much help and only leave Eliza with more questions than answers. Eliza and Bea’s family already has a history of tragedy. She couldn’t stand for something to happen to her sister.
Eliza vows to protect Piper and find her sister. She has to believe this will be a happy ending.
This book grabbed me right from the start. The action and drama continued right up to the last page. I kept thinking I’d only read one more chapter, but I couldn’t stop. For me, this was a captivating, addictive read. I devoured this one. So good.
I never read anything by this author before, but it won’t be my last. I enjoyed the writing style. The characters were well-developed. Eliza and Piper were my favorites. My head was spinning with all the possibilities of what could have happened to Bea.
A great ride of adventure and drama mixed into one exciting story. A suspenseful story to keep you up late at night reading.
