Waiting on Wednesday

This is what I'm anxiously awaiting for.....

This is part of Debbie Macomber's Cedar Cove series. I love this series!

Publisher: Mira
Release Date: August 25, 2009

This is what Amazon.com has to say about it...

Product Description
92 Pacific Boulevard
Cedar Cove, Washington

Dear Listener:

I’m not much of a letter-writer. As the sheriff here, I’m used to writing incident reports, not chatty letters. But my daughter, Megan -- who’ll be making me a grandfather soon -- told me I had to do this. So here goes.

I’ll tell you straight out that I’d hoped to marry Faith Beckwith (my one-time high school girlfriend) but she ended the relationship last month, even though we’re both widowed and available. There were a few misunderstandings between us, some of them inadvertently caused by Megan.

However, I’ve got plenty to keep me occupied, like the unidentified remains found in a cave outside town. And the fact that my friend, Judge Olivia Griffin, is fighting cancer. And the break-ins at 204 Rosewood Lane -- the house Faith happens to be renting from Grace Harding…

If you want to hear more, come on over to my place or to the sheriff’s office (if you can stand the stale coffee!).

  11. Kalea_Kane - Isn't the kitty adorable?

Sassy - Thanks for the tag! I will definitely join in, but I don't have a camera available to take a picture right now. I hope that's okay.

    LadyBug - It's a wonderful series!

Desert Rose - Thank you! I will definitely play along, but I don't think I'll have a camera to take a picture of right now.

Diane - Macomber has a Cedar Cove book every year. I love them.

    Nise' - Me too! I haven't read #8 yet. I read #7 a few months ago.

Scrap girl - I have The Shop on Blossom Street in my TBR and it looks great.

vvb32 reads - Definitely - her covers always look so inviting.

Marie - Thanks...I think this particular series is best read from the beginning. With each book you read a little bit more character development and sometimes incidents are referred to in later books.

Missy - If you have a chance, you should give Macomber a try. She's a wonderful author. One of my favorites.

Naida - Doesn't it sound good?
