I hope everyone is enjoying their summer. I can't believe it's almost over. Where does the time go?
I only finished one book this week, "A Dog Named Slugger" by Leigh Brill. I know it felt like I was reading it for weeks, but the only reason I didn't finish it sooner was because of other commitments. It had nothing to do with the book, the book was really good. Suddenly I'm reading dog books. How weird to give "kitty" ratings to dogs. LOL
This week I had the honor of interviewing Kari Lee Townsend. She wrote a cozy mystery I loved, "Tempest in the Tea Leaves". I love doing author interviews :) In fact, check out my sidebar, I have quite a few interviews/guest blog posts/blog tours coming up. I'm really excited about them.
I'm still trying to decide if I should do a cozy blog. I was thinking it would be a good place for me to keep track of the different cozy series I'm reading, new releases coming up and I would post my cozy reviews there (as well as here). I don't know. I'm not sure I have the time, but I'm thinking about it.
So, how was your week? Read anything good this week?
Hope you all have a great week!

Thank you for stopping by and visiting my blog! I always love reading comments and getting to know my readers!
After some careful consideration, I've decided to become an award-free blog. Although I appreciate and am honored by each and every award I've received, your comments and friendship are enough award for me. Thank you all so much for your thoughtfulness.
Due to way too many spam comments, I disabled the Anonymous User comments. We'll see if this works, otherwise I'll have to go back to word verification.

Hi Yvonne--wanted to tell you about a GREAT website that will help you keep track of the series books you read & upcoming releases for the series. I love it! This might be an easier way for you to keep track of your cozy series and it won't take as much time as a blog....

If you start a cozy blog, I'll be sure to follow! I love cozies, but can never seem to keep tabs on all the new ones coming out. It would be nice to have a one stop blog for all cozy news!
ReplyDeleteI think if there is a new blog, I will follow that as well. But this site of yours is cozy as well :) Maybe you can create a page here with all the info :)
ReplyDeleteI hope you have a good week ahead.
I haven't ever really gotten into Cozies but I love reading reviews of them. I'll definitely read if you write!
ReplyDeleteI've got a few pages that I keep for my series, but just for myself. I love your cat picture today, it is soooo true!!
ReplyDeleteI like the idea of a cozy blog...but then again, whenever I like something, I start another blog about it. That got me up to twenty blogs at one point...LOL
ReplyDeleteNow I only have ten.
Love that cat on the table. Looks familiar.
Here's MY SUNDAY SALON POST
I know! Where did it go? and can I get it back. I do not want 6 months of snow and darkness
ReplyDeleteI can't believe that summer is almost over. I do love the Fall season though.
ReplyDeleteCozy blog sounds like a nice idea. I have two blogs, my one book blog and one for my crochet. It is work keeping up sometimes, but I enjoy it. My crochet blog is actually older.
Enjoy your Sunday!
I agree. It is hilarious to give kitty ratings for doggy books!
ReplyDeleteI wish you the best of luck if you decide to start a new blog. It's a lot of work, but I know there is a large audience for cozies, so that would be cool. :)
