It's that simple.

This week I'm reading...

"There's certainly a lot of rich history here," Julie said as she watched the other woman closely. "Daniel here is a historian. He's excavating an old steamboat that was sunk on the Missouri River."

  1. This definitely sounds like a book for me! Anything that involves history and excavating stuff hooks me immediately. This sounds like a great read!

  2. Interesting, I use to live in Missouri so the mention of the river caught my attention.

  3. Since I like to quilt and I enjoy reading mysteries, this sounds like a book for me! I'm also curious about that sunken steamboat.
    My Friday post features GRACIANNA.

  4. What a cozy looking cover. :)Excavation sounds interesting, and a steamboat? That'll be rich in material.

  5. I like the excavating of the steamship. I'll bet this is a fun read.

  6. Sounds good! And I love that cover...I am obsessed with window seats...I once had a guesthouse with two.

Not a fan of skeleton heads as part of the decor, though; however, it does sound like an enticing read.

Here's mine: “THE ONE THAT GOT AWAY”

  7. I wonder what the history is on the sunken steamboat then.... maybe that's where the mystery lies??
    Happy weekend!

  8. I don't really like mysteries, but nice quote!

  9. My bookshelf is groaning under the weight of all the cozies. LOL This sounds like another winner. Could she be fishing for clues?
