Sunday/Monday Posts - March 4th and 5th

The Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted by Kimba the Caffeinated Book Reviewer ~ It's a chance to share news~ A post to recap the past week on your blog, showcase books and things we have received and share news about what is coming up on our blog for the week ahead.

If you'd like to participate with The Sunday Salon, it is now a Facebook group.

It’s Monday! What Are You Reading is a meme with a new host!  It's now being hosted by Kathryn at Book Date. This is where we share what we read this past week, what we hope to read this week…. and anything in between! This is a great way to plan out your reading week and see what others are currently reading as well… you never know where that next “must read” book will come from!

I'm also linking to  Stacking The Shelves which is hosted by Team Tynga's Reviews.

Happy Weekend!

Talk about crazy weather.  We had a nor'easter yesterday.  Fortunately, it wasn't snow.  It was a lot of rain. So much flooding.  I was lucky as I don't live near the water.  I'm so ready for lovely spring weather to finally get here.

I have quite a few blog tours coming up this week.  I'm desperately trying to catch up on my reviews.  There seems to be a never ending supply of books waiting for me to review.

All my TV shows returned this past week.  The new Survivor season looks like it will be a good one.  It's nice to have This Is us back and I'll be spending the weekend catching up with all the shows on my DVR from this past week.

My addiction to Kindle freebies is still strong and I picked up a few more.  I just can't resist :)  Luckily there are no calories involved, so I can have as many as I want :)

Other than that, a quiet week.  Hope you are all having a good weekend and reading many good books. Have a great week!

Yvonne

A week can't go by where I don't get a few Kindle freebies... They were freebies when I got them, I don't know if they still are. Always make sure to check they are still free before buying.  The prices change quickly.

These books are all coming up for blog tours in the next couple of months:

  4. I just got the ARC of The Girl I Used to Be from Goodreads! How exciting. Have a good week!
I am riding out the storm that took out our power at a friends. So surreal looking at all the downed trees and power lines cut in half. They say we won't have power to our area till Wednesday!! Have a good Sunday!

  5. I do love catching up on the DVR...and I'm almost there. And still watching Parenthood on Netflix, even though I've seen the show in the past. It feels different this time, though.

I hope to read The French Girl soon.

Enjoy your week, and here are MY WEEKLY UPDATES

  10. Glad you're not near water. My Mom was on flood watch the past 2 weekends but got a well deserved break this weekend. I'm ready for spring too. We haven't had a bad winter per se, just a crazy one!

  17. We had about three days straight of rain. The local mountains did get a dusting of snow. The Sierra Nevadas though got feet of snow and we've had some avalanches and freeway closures. Come see what I've read.

  18. We had endless rain for awhile but it now seems like it's going to be sunny for awhile. I'm thrilled to see the sun that I don't really care that it's not warm. Yay for Kindle freebies! I'm looking forward to your thoughts on The French Girl and the Duffy Brown.
