The Weekend Review - December 14th-16th

The Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted by Kimba the Caffeinated Book Reviewer ~ It's a chance to share news~ A post to recap the past week on your blog, showcase books and things we have received and share news about what is coming up on our blog for the week ahead.

If you'd like to participate with The Sunday Salon, it is now being hosted by Deb at Readerbuzz.

It’s Monday! What Are You Reading is a meme with a new host!  It's now being hosted by Kathryn at Book Date. This is where we share what we read this past week, what we hope to read this week…. and anything in between! This is a great way to plan out your reading week and see what others are currently reading as well… you never know where that next “must read” book will come from!

I'm also linking to  Stacking The Shelves which is hosted by Team Tynga's Reviews.

Happy Weekend!

As usual, time is flying and it's almost Christmas.  I do love seeing all the decorations and lights when I drive around the area.  It's always so pretty.

My blog has been busy these past couple of weeks with blog tours.  That will be dying down a bit as December comes to a close.  Then, it will pick up in January again.  I'm reading many good books.  Right now I'm reading Steven Manchester's latest book.  I always enjoy his books.  They are so thought-provoking.

I did manage to complete another challenge - Craving for the Cozies Reading Challenge.  Not too difficult for me since I primarily read cozy mysteries.  I am branching out to other genres, though.  It's always fun to change it up a bit.

I finished watching my fall finales of the TV shows I enjoy.  I just have Survivor left which has their season finale next week.  I finished binging on The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel.  An excellent show.  I hope I don't have to wait too long for the next season.

Otherwise, it's been pretty quiet here as I continue unpacking.  How has your week been?  Anything new?  I hope you have a great week!

Yvonne

  4. I'm behind in my cozy challenges and don't know if I'll get them completed in time. I've read them but haven't reviewed them yet. So bust this time of year!

  7. The Little Bookshop on the Seine is still calling to me. I may heed the call soon.

It's fun for me to imagine you reading other genres. I always think of you as the Cozy Queen, but I know you read others sometimes.

    Have a great week.

  8. I used to love reading challenges . . . they are really fun, but I rarely completed them, so I stopped signing up. Love the titles of some your cozies.

  11. You're right - it is heartening to see all the Christmas lights blazing out during the long chilly evenings when it's bucketing down with rain... I hope you have a lovely week, Yvonne.
