The Weekend Review - March 7th - 9th

The Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted by Kimba the Caffeinated Book Reviewer ~ It's a chance to share news~ A post to recap the past week on your blog, showcase books and things we have received and share news about what is coming up on our blog for the week ahead.

If you'd like to participate with The Sunday Salon, it is now being hosted by Deb at Readerbuzz.

It’s Monday! What Are You Reading is a meme with a new host!  It's now being hosted by Kathryn at Book Date. This is where we share what we read this past week, what we hope to read this week…. and anything in between! This is a great way to plan out your reading week and see what others are currently reading as well… you never know where that next “must read” book will come from!

I'm also linking to  Stacking The Shelves which is hosted by Team Tynga's Reviews.

Happy Weekend!

Busy blog week!  Many tours and so many wonderful books coming up.  I'm looking forward to reading everything.  I wish there were more hours in the day for reading :)  Same old story - so many books, so little time :)

Fortunately, the regular TV season is winding down so that will leave more reading time for me.  I'm certainly not complaining about that.  Next season I will have to re-evaluate what I'm watching and try to cut back on the TV.  We'll see how that works out, if it does work out at all :)   After all, I thought I'd cut back on my blog tours and that didn't happen.  LOL

I'm pretty much caught up on TV, though - Survivor, Grey's Anatomy, Station 19 and This Is Us are just a few shows I've been enjoying.

There's not much new going on here.  I'm just sitting back and relaxing with my books.  How was your week?

Yvonne

  1. Looks like you got some good ones coming up! I try to only do 2-3 blog tours and 1 or 2 author requests a year. I'm too much of a mood reader for more commitment than that!

  2. I had to cut back on shows too and now I'm hardly watching anything lol. I love the look of the Easter mysteries. :)

  3. I love the look of Happy & You Know It. There's something about books with "happy" in the title that makes me take a second look.

I stopped watching random tv in 2003, and I've never regretted it. We got rid of cable last year, so now all we have is Netflix and Amazon Prime.

The Easter books look delightful, too. Have a great week.

  4. I love This Is Us...and we missed it here on Tuesday because of Super Tuesday broadcasting. It will be great for the routines to resume.

I love the look of your books. The new Robyn Carr is on my list.

Enjoy your week...and here are my WEEKLY UPDATES

  5. I watch, and rewatch far too much TV to be honest :)

I posted a review of Truths I Never Told You last week. It’s very moving.

Wishing you a great reading week

  6. I'm glad you are enjoying your reading so much! We have just bought a TV that can now get Amazon Prime, so we have just plunged into the delights of Picard... Have a lovely week, Yvonne.

  7. I just started the Laura Childs and am enjoying it. I know I'm going to have to cut some of my shows out. I just don't have time to keep up all my entertainment! Have a great week!

  8. I love This is Us. We really like Edie Falco's new show, Tommy too.

  9. I also downloaded The Missing Sister and Easter Easter Egg Hunt Murder. I keep adding shows to my schedule, lol, but I did successfully cut back on blog tours. I hope you enjoy all your new reads and have a great week.

  10. Nice looking books! With the baseball season beginning, I'm actually watching more TV. My tee shirt today says Too Many Books, Too Little Time. It is such a true statement. Come see my week here. Happy reading

Thank you for stopping by and visiting my blog! I always love reading comments and getting to know my readers!

After some careful consideration, I've decided to become an award-free blog. Although I appreciate and am honored by each and every award I've received, your comments and friendship are enough award for me. Thank you all so much for your thoughtfulness.

Due to way too many spam comments, I disabled the Anonymous User comments. We'll see if this works, otherwise I'll have to go back to word verification.
