The Weekend Review - September 12th-14th

The Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted by Kimba the Caffeinated Book Reviewer ~ It's a chance to share news~ A post to recap the past week on your blog, showcase books and things we have received and share news about what is coming up on our blog for the week ahead.

If you'd like to participate with The Sunday Salon, it is now being hosted by Deb at Readerbuzz.

It’s Monday! What Are You Reading is a meme with a new host!  It's now being hosted by Kathryn at Book Date. This is where we share what we read this past week, what we hope to read this week…. and anything in between! This is a great way to plan out your reading week and see what others are currently reading as well… you never know where that next “must read” book will come from!

I'm also linking to  Stacking The Shelves which is hosted by Team Tynga's Reviews.

Happy Weekend Everyone!

Another busy blog week...I had posts every day.  Next week looks like a busy one too.  If nothing else, it keeps my mind off things that are happening in the world around us.

I only finished one book this week, but it was a good one.  I'm currently reading a new-to-me author Elena Taylor.  It's really good so far.

I finished watching the Netflix series Away which I really liked.  It was only 10 episodes so it went really fast.  I'm hoping it comes back for a second season.

Everything is still pretty quiet here.  I hope you all have a great week!  Stay safe!

  2. You have been busy, with blog tours every day. I'm glad you finished a book, too. Like you say, we need distractions.

We are on Season 7 of Seinfeld, and watching all those old shows has been fun. I think we are getting close to the end, so I'll be looking for other ideas soon. Thanks for sharing Away.

I hope you have a good week!

  3. Hi Yvonne! I'm constantly looking for new series on Netflix. Will check Away out a bit.

Glad you enjoyed your book this week. I hardly ever read more than one book a week during school terms, but I always make sure it's a good one.

Have a good week with excellent hair! Read my post to understand... The Sunday Post #11

  4. I have Away on my Netflix queue, but I got caught up in the Prime show of The Good Wife...and I may watch all of that before going into a new series.

Enjoy your books and your week!

  6. Posting every day of the week is a great thing. I hope you are giving yourself some rest. I am yet to watch Away but the actor from Suits, so I might give it a chance.

  10. We were trying to only watch one Away a night, but we ended up watching 2 last night and probably will again tonight. We have seen 5 so far, it is good. I can't imagine anyone being willing to leave their family for 3 whole years.

  13. I see Elizabeth from Silver Reviews is reading the Lisa Unger book this week. She writes suspense/thrillers doesn't she. I haven't read her but readers of that genre enjoy her. All the best for this week.
