The Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted by Kimba the Caffeinated Book Reviewer ~ It's a chance to share news~ A post to recap the past week on your blog, showcase books and things we have received and share news about what is coming up on our blog for the week ahead.
If you'd like to participate with The Sunday Salon, it is now being hosted by Deb at Readerbuzz.
It’s Monday! What Are You Reading is a meme with a new host! It's now being hosted by Kathryn at Book Date. This is where we share what we read this past week, what we hope to read this week…. and anything in between! This is a great way to plan out your reading week and see what others are currently reading as well… you never know where that next “must read” book will come from!
I'm also linking to Stacking The Shelves which is hosted by Reading Reality.
Hi Everyone!
It's hard to believe we are halfway through January already but we are. Not much new is going on here. Our weather goes up and down...sometimes nice, sometimes cold (for Florida). This weekend is a cold one but not really as terrible as the weather people are saying, but that's just me.
I only finished two books this week but they were good ones. My TV shows have returned. I've watched Chicago PD, Fire and Med, New Amsterdam and the NCIS shows. I still have Blue Bloods to watch.
It's been a quiet week here. How is by you? Read or watch anything good? I hope you all have a great week!
I was noticing that some of the temps in Florida have been as cold as here in So Cal. I'm so sorry you are suffering like we are. ;)
ReplyDeleteIt's been cold here- I'm ready for spring already! :)
ReplyDeleteHope you're having a nice weekend !
I love the cover for Bakery and Buffoonery. I hope you enjoy reading this week!

Do I Know You? looks fun and interesting.
ReplyDeleteI'm glad that your shows are back. All Creatures Great and Small is back on PBS and I'm trying to take it in little bites so I can stretch it out as long as I can.
The Bookshop Mysteries looks interesting, I got some free Romcoms this week too! Have a great week!
ReplyDeleteI have a friend in Florida who talks about lighting the fireplace when it's 60 degrees outside. I'll have to get his perspective on how the weather there feels now. I live in Maryland we have some fun conversations about whether. :) I really love the covers (and the premise) of the Magical Mystery Book Club Series and I need to read those. Have a great week! :-)
ReplyDeleteI am sad that New Amsterdam is ending soon.
ReplyDeleteThe Gulf Coast always has such strange winters. A couple of days ago I had AC on and now it's heat. Brr....
ReplyDeleteSince my team was eliminated in the football playoffs, I don't think I'll be watching any TV until baseball starts. I've never seen any of the series you mention. Come see my week here. Happy reading!
ReplyDeleteDo I Know You has a really clever cover. Weather is relative isn't it! Those with bad rain and floods now they have something to say!
ReplyDeleteThis was a strange week for me. It was quiet in that I didn't have many places to be or appointments, but busy in that I had so much of random things to do. Oh well, such is January!
ReplyDeleteHave a great week! - Melinda @ A Web of Stories
We are doing the up and down thing with the temperatures too and I'm not a fan of the cold! I really need to get back to NCIS. I'm a couple of seasons behind but it's been one of my favorite shows for years. Have a great week!
ReplyDeleteJanuary is going too fast! I have so much stuff to do. I hope you're having a great week!
ReplyDeleteI like the variety of cozies you have on your TBR. Here's my latest, a review of an S&S antho:

I got a lot of reading in last week, although most are graphic novels I'm reading for the Cybils' awards. Happy reading this week!
