The Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted by Kimba the Caffeinated Book Reviewer ~ It's a chance to share news~ A post to recap the past week on your blog, showcase books and things we have received and share news about what is coming up on our blog for the week ahead.
If you'd like to participate with The Sunday Salon, it is now being hosted by Deb at Readerbuzz.
It’s Monday! What Are You Reading is a meme with a new host! It's now being hosted by Kathryn at Book Date. This is where we share what we read this past week, what we hope to read this week…. and anything in between! This is a great way to plan out your reading week and see what others are currently reading as well… you never know where that next “must read” book will come from!
I'm also linking to Stacking the Shelves which is hosted by Reading Reality.
Hi Everyone!
Nothing new to report here. Our weather is hot and humid so no walking for me and it's too humid for me to even sit outside and read. It's much more comfortable inside with the a/c going. At least for me it's more comfortable.
I finished two books. Both were good and both were books I've been wanting to read. I haven't been watching much TV.
My goal is to keep reading and knock a few books off my NetGalley list.
Hope everyone has a great week!
Yvonne

I'm with you on the A/C! I've only been going out to go to the grocery store and an occasional in-person appointment. Stay cool and have a great week! :)
ReplyDeleteThat's pretty much what I've been doing too. Thanks. You have a great week too!
DeleteIt has been hot and humid here too and I am with you. Under a ceiling fan with the AC on is the place to be. I'm on hold for The House Wife -- it looks good!
ReplyDeleteIt really does. I'm looking forward to reading it.
DeleteYou must be in Texas with me because yuck! Same here....humid, sticky just gross unless you are in water. Hope you can hunker down in the house and read these books :)
ReplyDeleteI'm in Florida but I think our weather is pretty similar. Hope you have a good week.
DeleteWe have the hot and the humidity is ticking up also. It makes it hard to feel energetic.
ReplyDeleteAnne - Books of My Heart This is my Sunday Post
Yes, that's very true - the humidity takes all your energy.
DeleteHot in summer is the name of the tune. Stay cool and keep reading!
ReplyDeleteTrue. Staying inside with the a/c seems to be best for me.
DeleteI need to see what you thought about Lost in the Summer of '69. Good luck with your goal of watching less tv and reading more books.
ReplyDeleteThanks. The book was so good.
DeleteI bet it is just as hot and humid here in Mass. right now. :)
ReplyDeleteI'm sure. Summer is definitely here.
DeleteIt's been hot here too! Hope you have a good week.
ReplyDeleteSeems like many of us are going through it. You have a good week too!
DeleteUgh, humidity makes heat so hard to cope with. Hope you're keeping cool!
ReplyDeleteIt does take all the energy out of me. I'm happy in my a/c house :) Have a great week!
DeleteIt was hot and humid here as well, Yvonne. I am also trying to knock some NG books off that shelf. I hope this is a good week for you.
ReplyDeleteThanks. I hope it's a good week for you too.
DeleteIt was so hot working in the garden today, but I finally got everything planted. Looks like you have some great books, Yvonne. Hope you enjoy them all.

Thanks. Have a great week!
DeleteWe're having a new garden room built and after the mini-heatwave in May, we've taken the decision to have aircon fitted! But the huge majority of homes in the UK don't. Have a great week, Yvonne.
ReplyDeleteYour new garden room sounds wonderful. Good luck with it and how nice to get aircon too! Have a great week!
DeleteWe have been having unseasonably cool weather. I was lots more tempted to turn on the furnace than the air conditioner. I'm trying to read down some of my review copies which would go easier if I didn't keep adding to the stack. Come see my week here. Happy reading!
ReplyDeleteIt's so easy to add review copies when you don't really mean to, isn't it? I can't seem to help myself. I hope you have a great week!
DeleteYuck to hot humid weather. Nice to get some reading accomplished and knock that netgalley shelf back a bit.
ReplyDeleteThat's my plan. Hope it works. Have a great week!
DeleteI keep thinking about getting a walking pad so I can get more walking in without having to go outside. All of your new books are new to me this week! I'm looking forward to seeing your thoughts on them. Have a great week.
ReplyDeleteA walking pad sounds interesting. I've never heard of such a thing before. It would be so helpful in such a heatwave like we're having this summer. Criminally Cocoa has such a cute cover, but I'm interested to hear what you think of Lost in thr Summer of '69. It sounds fun.
ReplyDeleteI am definitely not missing that hot summer weather!
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing your week, stay cool & happy reading
I kind of want hot and humid, cos now it is grey and cold
